http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/andre-villas-boas-says-he-should-1139671

Villas-Boas, sacked by the Blues in March and who saw the squad he left behind win the Champions League and FA Cup under his previous assistant Roberto Di Matteo, said:

"I came here to restore my reputation and take the club forward.

"I want to show that I have learned from what I did wrong.

"What happened at Chelsea was not the failure of a single person. I would say that I put in place a squad for the future of that club.

"I respect the decision that Chelsea made. But I still don't agree with it, or accept it.

"I was honoured I could put that team together and I would say that some of what they achieved was down to me. But now I must move on."

THAT last line...WTF?!!

Same old croaky voice, needs to have a good cough. Well he seemed ok, he never said anything like the above, he accepted he has learnt a lot and maybe made some mistakes. He could be good for Tottenham if he learns from what he did here, maybe he was a bit naive here. He's also practically told SSN that Modric wants to go.

People should read the whole fucking quote first. Yes he did say that part but he went on to say that the success was ultimately down to RDM and the "magnificent players" in his own words

FFS.

The point is he tried to claim credit. For what? He nearly left us on the verge of exit after the 3-1 defeat to Napoli, all thanks to his silly kamikaze attacking approach.
