Sorry i don't think it is, as i haven't seen anything spectacular about him so far, and the french league is different. He's going to get much harder competition in the Premier League.

21 year old kid, doesn't know English probably feels completely lost, considering KDB and Romelu moved on as well. That said, I didn't think he was that bad. There were much worse performances out there. We need to add more 1-2s in our play, there were numerous times I saw him pass and make a run and got nothing back, but I guess that's to be expected as we don't have the best one touch passing midfield and they are probably still learning to play with each other.

Anyways, making a firm judgment on the new players and the new Chelsea would be stupid until after the first 4-6 weeks. First competitive game of the season isn't a large enough sample size at all.

Thought Hazard played well, but we need to play a system where he can move across the pitch without any consequences. Playing him on the left means Ashley Cole gets isolated when Hazard moves across the pitch.

Hazard has now got a taste of English football and will slowly start figuring out the patterns, pace of play, how and when people tackle.... the moment he gets that... he will murder defences.....

I really think against Wigan will be his breakout performance, as the quality difference between Mancity and Wigan is Huge.... wigan and Reading should give him the perfect start to believe he can beat this league.

Hazard will learn when to dribble and when to just lay off the ball. Game by game you can see him improving. He'll be a very good player by the end of this seasons. A great one in 3 or so seasons.
