It's obvious why they haven't announced him as a Chelsea player. They want to unveil the player themsleves rather than confirm what he tweeted. It would take the 'Magic' away from unveiling him and seeing him hold up his Chelsea shirt and giving interviews etc at the press conference.

Also, if they announced him as a Chelsea player he would probably get unwanted attention from the non-Chelsea England players who would want to rough him up in the England vs Belgium game. There's also the possibility that the Club wants to Unveil Hazard and Hulk at the same time as it would be a glamorous statement in intent.

It has been 2 days now since he tweeted it and the news are all over the media but nobody from Lille or Chelsea or his agent have come out to deny it, which means the deal has already been agreed. All that is probably left now is the paperwork to be completed between the two clubs.

Well, one side of me is happy that the deal is seemingly done but the other side of me is being completely paranoid, fearing that something else may happen between now and Saturday. Not getting carried away just yet.
