Such a sad moment when he had the ball and urged his team mates to go forward with him. And still had no one to combine with. So isolated it was incredible.

Yup there was defense and then Eden and then nothing.

Honestly after seeing today game, I expect Eden to leave if this is the way we go against top teams. He had ZERO support. City had not only Silva and DeBruyne, but Jesus, Sane, even Fernandinho and BOTH fullbacks coming up and linking. Eden was only with Morata and after the sub he was alone. I guess thats down to Conte because against Atletico, we were linking much better.

Honestly. Would be incredibly sad but 5 years of this nonsense is hard man. When you have a player like Eden and don’t build around him properly it’s incredibly sad. At least we’ve taken a step forward with Morata but we really do need another top quality forward to help him.

I would love to see Eden play with Fekir behind Morata.

Have to agree with many of the posts above..

Hazard has spent too much of time at Chelsea doing it all on his own..

Drogba had Lampard..

The moment Morata had to be subbed off, was really disappointing.

Him and Eden have barely had 30 minutes together in the PL

The moment Morata went out he lost the only support he had.

Looked visibly frustrated with the way we played. Saw him several times urging us to get up the field to press City or provide some support when we had the ball.

Barely able to get on the ball and the moments he did there simply wasn't anything on.

We linked well against Atletico because they allowed us to. If they tried to play we would have resorted to the usual shit on a stick football. That win has really misled a lot of fans and pundits and made them forget what this team is really about. The Arsenal game wasn't even that long ago.

Can you even imagine how good Hazard would be if he was playing for that City team yesterday?

Honestly, knowing how good he is and what he can be I hope he leaves in the summer. Don't waste your prime years on low block, 25% possession teams would be my advice.

One bad loss and suddenly people are losing their mind over Hazard. <_<

Thing is, it's not just one bad loss in a vacuum. It's a game that highlights the gulf in quality and ambition between the two clubs.

One team playing stylish, slick football  from the future. Another team playing football from the 70s. That was complete and utter domination.

Hazard is one of the calmest players and never shows his frustration but he did yesterday on several occasions. He really needs to start using the credit he has built up and demand more before signing a new deal.

Yes, I get the difference in playing style but why wait till one loss to vent all these frustrations? It's hardly a secret that we've been playing pragmatic football with the occasional brilliance for the last decade or so. So why are people acting all surprise by the lack of quality shown in games like yesterday?

If you believe the latest rumours, he's set to sign a 300k p/w contract and become the highest paid player in the Premier League after the international break.
