Yes. And does Hazard contribute to himself or to the club? What he earns is ridiculous and I'll stand my opinion that you must earn your price and wages for the club. The name on the front of the shirt is more important than the back and Hazard is starting to perform consistently at a genuine level. Still don't think anyone at our club should be earning 100 plus given how mediocre we've been this campaign though I blame this primarily down to board decisions and management.

Hazard is having a great first season, 110k was the price payed due to the competition.

Would you be crying if Hazard went to Manure or would you be saying we shouldnt have payed that to him?

Well united we're never going to pay that amount in wages for one, second, his contributions should be on a consistent basis for the club regularly. Still can't believe some of the wages our some of our players are on given how average we have been

1. United would have payed him that much because Lucas numbers were around the same as Hazard (30mi + 100k/week).

2. What does other players performances have to do with the discussion? We are debating Hazard's worthiness of his transfer tag and wages.

And did United agree with his wages? Did they agree with his ridiculous transfer?

This is a team. When one triumphs, we all triumph. When one falls we all fall.

Hazards performance have been quality, but not for what we are paying him, not yet. Mata has been better and he is on much less. This club needs to succeed as a unit before anyone gets a pay raise and that's just my opinion.

Yes, United was the one who offered that. Lucas was this close to joining Manure...Then came crazy PSG and payed 42mi + 140k/week.

Mata is the most underpayed player I know. Just because he is vastly underpayed, it doesnt mean it is Hazard's fault or that he isnt worth what he makes or that he is being selfish and leting the name on the back speak louder than the crest on the front...

Hazard transfer was fair, not a super bargain and not fucking ridiculous. His twitter saga was just really normal and playful (like a 22yo is), I dont view as brag.

Commeon this is modern football. All about money.

I personaly like to see Hazard on 100k here than elsewhere. He is top prospect and is already showing that.

Young talents are no more cheap because they are unproven. Things have changed. They are expensive because they are future of the club. Hazard is future of this club and he came expensive as many other young talents. Sure his week wages are lot, but that could be agents decision too.

Moura, had been a target of Manchester United, but the two clubs failed to agree on a fee for the teenager.

I've see you have taken the staying on topic strategy into good use... :wank2:

I have yet to see any of sort of support where Lucas 'apparently' had his fee agreed with United before PSG came along.

They agreed on the transfer/ hazard wages but they didnt want to pay the 3-5M? to hazards agent

And if Hazard aint worth 110k/w , who in the Premier League is worth his wages i wonder???

Hazard was making 100k (€) at Lille last year. So got a moderate payrise out of his transfer.

Compare him to the players who make more then him at Chelsea and keep in mind he's featured in every match Chelsea have played...

I don't believe that Hazard makes 110k p/w.

He would have the worst agent in the world if he didn't earn something close to that. You don't move for a 32m transfer fee and get paid squad player wages. What I don't believe is those who say he earns close to 200k a week.

110k p/w sounds about right given his ability and transfer fee.

Hazard is reaching his top form, but this has also to do with the fact that he is involved way more by his team mates. Before new year, he was often completely free and the ball would never reach him (play always developed over the right hand side of the field, not the left). A player like Hazard needs to feel the ball constantly, he has to be fed the ball so he can dictate the pace.

It seems that he has more respect from his teammates now, and they all start looking for him when in possession. If they don't know what to do: get the ball to Eden.
