bababoom 4,478
Definitely carrying too much fat, compare his body in 2012 to now Thats the main reason why he's so much slower and not able to use that burst of acceleration to beat player consistently, really dont know whats going on in his head. Chelsea pre-season was bad. Diego Costa was the fat man as well well beyond the start of the season. Cesc Fabregas a bit too. Yes, it is tiresome and yes footballers shouldn't come fat from vacation. Maybe their bodies reacts this way to lack of intesity, because I don't believe that they eat 3 course meal in McDonald every day while on holidays. Tbf only Diego has recovered from early season form. Both physically and mentality. Hazard and Matic are off the pace. Don't look like physically ready, never looked. So I can assume that preperation plan was wrong. Even Mourinho said that they experimented with short pre-season and believe that players reacted diffrent than they expected. And this is one of the strategic problem. The other is lack of confidence. You literally has to restart the whole thing and start from zero at this point. And that what new season brings you. It's all about confidence guys. He really shows glimpses during the game of what for a talent he is. He knows that everyone compared him to Messi last year, that brings a lot of pressure for a young player. He is still our best player without doubt. Give him some credit and support him. Next season he will shine again, you will see!! I certainly hope so, if he stays. His talent is undeniable, which is why its frustrating. Pizy 18,897
If he stays he needs to go to some sort of summer boot camp after the Euro's and a short holiday. Whip his ass into shape so he's actually ready for a season.
Blue Armour 4,439
I'm not going to blame some fans for throwing flak at him for the shirt swap,...people are bound to be irrational and mad after the PSG game and the repercussions of the result... Bit tactless from Hazards side, but he can't be blamed either. He was never fully fit this season and went into this game with an injury. You can't expect him to perform at his highest level under these circumstances
Billy. 2,742
I want him gone, no fight or passion or this club at all. And im getting sick of him wanting to get subbed all the time and being a bottle job. Been saying it for a while now he is so overrated. If he was so world class he would have got out of this rut already. Essien19

johnnythefirst 1,076
If you're going to keep playing him like this every match he's going to have the same injuries until he eventually breaks down indefinitely and becomes another Torres Styles

Belgiannutt 3,201
Belgian paper reporting he's been playing with pain (painkillers) for the last 3 weeks. Ivanovic also confirming Hazard (and Costa) started the game injured. " ‘It's not an excuse, but people have to think about the fact Eden started the game injured,’ said Ivanovic. " ffs just rest him already. How long are we gonna continue to flog him to death ? Styles
