Tomo 21,751
I'm sure he will sign eventually. He obviously wants a bumper pay and will wait it out a little giving time for other teams to get interested in order to pressure chelsea to pay him more. Obviously this is an assumption, i'm no right hand man of roman but i'd guess that's what the most logical matter seems.I don't see why he would want to leave when he is at the center of the team that has the potential to win many trophies in the next 5-10 years. If he was to go to another team say Real or Barca, his 1st team chances are instantly reduced, he would need to prove himself again. Not to mention he has just the man to tell him being on Reals payroll isn't all its cracked up to be, or just look at the current jeering off Gareth Bale. atreny

MCM4PR3Z 411
He is Chelsea's most important player, I can understand that he wants to see that in salary too.
lionsden 4,689
He is Chelsea's most important player, I can understand that he wants to see that in salary too.Wrong, Matic, Cesc and Costa are more important. He's our best player though.

LukakutoStamford 779
Somewhat a silly discussion re: best player etc. Chelsea can't afford to lose a player like Eden unless they are bringing in someone as good or better. Not to many players better than him.
sutro 1,026
Disagree.Costa is Chelsea's most important player....Than, John Terry and Cesc. Costa is by no means Chelsea's most important player , i agree with JT and cesc tough. With Remy we have a great back up without losing to much of quality. Now tell me, with who exactly would you replace Hazard without losing to much of quality? Kind of the missing link, scoring goals out of nothing and constantly pressuring the cbs. Hazard is amazing, but, if he thinks hes going to start for either real madrid or barcelona, he is dreaming and if he really wants 300k... goodluck

So you really think that a team who will have to pay an absurd ammount of money (70-80 mil)to get a player will place that player on their bench? sorry but your the one that is dreaming

LukakutoStamford 779
Hazard would start anywhere in the world even RM. The contract issue is unknown so there's no reason to get up in arms unless it doesn't get done.

MrBlueGuy 1,552
Hazard is not as good as Bale was in his last season at Spurs so he probably wouldn't be starting ahead of Ronaldo or Bale for Madrid atm. Might not even be in front of James or Isco given how good they are.
sutro 1,026
How exactly would Hazard start on real madrid, barcelona and munich? Thats why i think he wont leave in the next 3-4 years, its getting more dangerous when Ronaldo is 31-32 and Hazard entering his prime
