Yes, well, they are both on thatΒ level, close to each other I would say. But most of people doesn't even want to compare them, because IT'S NEYMAR, next football's Brazilian God. Hazard was our only consistently brilliant player in both of our titles, he was our main man. Two titles, in most demanding league in world, being main man. Naymar proved himself on some other ways, but they both are there, fighting forΒ second spot behind Messi.

Agreed.Β

Completely agree.

For me HazardΒ and Neymar are at the same level. I will put current Messi at the same bracket, 30 years old messi not prime messi. Prime messi wasΒ almost at extraterrestrial category.

Hopefully we can have a strong enough squad to challenge for UCL because player at this level should challenge for UCL every year.

IMO, Messi is still in his prime, only now he is playing in way way inferior Barcelona than from last decade, so he can't look like God with likes of Rakitic, Paulinho, Delofeu etc. alongside him... Still clearlyΒ the best player though.

When he was in his "prime", he was better dribbler and quicker, now he is better FK taker and passer. He is just evolving, no way he is past his prime.

Don't get me wrong. He is still a wonderful player but that young and prime Messi was just ridiculous. You can see every time he touched the ball, the other team defenders were just frightened of him

His form at the moment is great, he’s on a wee run again where he’s influencing games big time but I think talks of challenging Messi/RonaldoΒ is getting ahead of ourselves.Β Do people think he’s really playing as good as Messi or Ronaldo? Or can challenge guys who have been scoring 40-50 goals a year for nearly 10 seasons?Β I meanΒ for me Eden isΒ world class, more than likely the best player in the PLΒ but he is not at that Messi/Ronaldo level,Β even if their aging. He’sΒ in the bracket just below with Neymar and a few others for me. I just dont think he’s got the drive the likes of Messi,Β Ronaldo or even Neymar have to be that number 1 player or number 1 goal scorer or number 1 assister or whateverΒ whichΒ is a shame. But on the other hand if we are talking about importance he is arguably the most important player in Europe because imagine how poor we’d be without him and how much we would struggle.

Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love it if Eden stays here, but I can understand that he wants to join a team where he can fulfill his potential. I wouldn't be mad at him.

Real Madrid may have better quality players than us but let's not pretend it's all bright and shiny over there. Some blow hot and cold, some are getting old, some are just pure boneheaded fellas.

Exactly. Real is gonna have a huge makeover in coming years. CR can't do it anymore, Benzema is declining, Bale is always injured. ModriΔ‡ is 32, KovačiΔ‡ in't anything near starting XI material for a club like RM. Ramos will get exposed more often with his brain farts as the rest of the squad is declining too. And no need to say that they have far the worst goalkeepers of all top clubs.

Can't see them winning anything in upcoming years. Thing is, even if they bring Hazard, you think they could just say to Bale, Benzema or CR that they will no play anymore? Maybe, for 2 years, but not already. CR won ballon d'or last year, Bale is still 28 and his price was 100 mils. Benzema might be the first one to get benched, but then again, they have Isco too, who is top player. And it's question if you could just kick Banzema out of first XI and place CR as a lone striker. He never played that role for some significant period. Whole lot of mess going on in that club...

Hazard would cost 200 millions, it's realistic. I don't see how could they risk BBC falling off with so much money on the stake.

That doesΒ΄nt matter given their record to spend money at will. If Zidane stays at their manager, they could attract Eden and buy a new team around him and Ronaldo. That being said, most of their playersΒ are still in their mid 20s, if any, so itΒ΄s not like they have to replace their whole team like we had to with our old guard few years ago.

Hazard will be 27 next month. I think Real might not go for him at all. They usually look to buy younger players.

That being said let's not forget Chelsea and Hazard areΒ in greatΒ form now... So media is just trying to put us down.

Most of their players are mid 20s but how many of them are actually good? Apart from the likes of Isco, Asensio and Varane, the rest are bang average. Zidane have barely used them this season despite struggling to win matches. Real do have a record of spending big yes but in recent seasons, they have cut down on that approach - appearing to take a more sensible approach in building a solid team than a team of individuals. Even if they do spend big again, who exactly are they going to buy? How many players can they spend on if say they're gonna pay 100m for Hazard? Players would also be mindful of joining Real after what happened with James and Morata.

I know there is a possibility that Hazard might leave the club but that article looks like one of those clickbait articles, looking to draw people in during a dry period. Hard to believe major Chelsea stories such as that unless it comes from Matt Law or Dominic Fifield.

I agree with you, but 100m for Hazard? Dembele's price was around 100, Pool could've sell Coutinho for about 150. If Neymar is 220, Hazard is at least worth 180millions.

It's just a hypothetical value. Don't need to be picky about it. :chai:
