I think he needs a partner who is physical and aerially dominant like JT. Someone who has the intelligence to cover for him while he anticipates passes and breaks up plays. Recently Mertesacker has replaced him in the NT and rightly so. Boateng who imo has improved tremendously under pep will keep his place in the Nt. At that level technique is everything.Luiz did start both Brazil "friendly" (no such thing so close to the wc) and did look tired to me. Perhaps Cahill was tired too from international duty. Luiz made a mistake in that goal, but nobody takes you seriously anymore when the subject is Luiz, since you only appear in this topic when he made a mistake, and it seems you only came here to compare Luiz to Terry, and thats not really necessary, because Terry is a legend, the captain, and has nothing left to prove.
