I really believe you are stretching Korea, China and Japan to be third-world nations like Somalia and Syria. From what I know of 1920s Japan, it was a brief period of democracy and liberalism between the Meiji era and kamikaze WW2 Japan and I recall reading that Japan was one of the few nations that hadn't felt too much of the worldwide economic crisis. Korea, I'll give you because of Japanese occupation but not in the sense that it was 'third world'. Again, I'll disagree with that. Shit didn't hit the fan in China till the late 1930s, when huge wars broke out. It still wasn't at the point of poverty that occurred during the Great Leap Forward. There is a reason that it's called the Golden Decade. It's apple and oranges to compare those three places with nations like Somalia, Afghanistan and Syria, and in particular and I think you really sell your own heritage a little short.  Korea, Japan and China may been far from the golden standard of Western Europe and the Western world but you really must appreciate that the West is the exception not the rule.

I really don't believe these ghettos in Sweden can integrate given their self-preservation and hatred of Sweden. They cannot, they will not and it won't happen unless they are open to losing the less desirable aspects of their culture and assimilate into their new home's culture...There is a reason why Pakistani-English people are the most inbred people in the world, because they don't drop the worst of their own customs, think about it.

They were definitely third world nations in their time though. There was a reason why my family, and many others, traveled across the world to places where they were hated to escape it.  Mao was able to take ground not only because he stood up for China against the Yamato menace, but also inspired peasants who had no hope into reclaiming something that could finally be their own. These places were third world in every sense in the 30's. You look at how big, and how much of a civilization superpower China could be, and she was overrun by a small militaristic nation with little true power.

A big criticism I see, of the middle east now, is their problem with women and children rights. The same thing is comparable to the far east. I am not even 30 yet, but within my life I am old enough to remember Child porn production being made illegal in Japan. Hell,  it was only 3 years ago when possessing such material was made an offense. Japanese women don't even dream the way women in the west do. There is no hope the way you see with women in the US. The worst of our, and even Korean customs, only disappeared due to a constant presence of outside influence. The same way women in places like Iran and Afghanistan seemed to have a lot more rights when there was a constant outside influence on their society. I am optimistic about their ability to integrate and become, if not exceptional, at least decent part of the nation's fabric. That is the optimist America in me though. I only have experience with many different type of groups integrating somewhat into a society.

I'd probably pick modern Afghanistan. At least then I'd know one day my children might apologize for our sins:lol:

Those damn Chinese immigrants came in and stole all the white peoples' jobs and raped all the white women.

I remember hearing that big part of Chinese fear in America was the idea that Chinese, and by extension Asian, men would take white women. Asian men who came to America were often alone, and young. This meant excitement for local women:

During this time Sessue Hayakwa also became one of the first male sex symbols of hollywood:

This led to the creation of many harmful stereotypes that exist today(The idea that Asian men are "boring" and the even more prevalent small penis myth). This was all to exert power over a group which was viewed as a threat at the time. The funny thing to me is, if you get past the stereotypes, women still seem to be attracted to Asian men. Black women, from what I have seen, love Asian men. They are able to look past stereotypes because they have seen harmful sexual stereotypes used against them.  The emergence of Korean males in popular media is also proof that this sexual stereotype was nothing more than a tool to control.

I discovered there is the following trick psychology plays on all of us:
When the right wing are the oppressors, or at any rate they have installed some kind of one party regime, we think of the leftists as our natural allies.
We are fired upon by them and we say "where did that artillery barrage come from ???".
Equivalently, when the reds are in power and it is them who do the oppressing we think of the rightists as our natural allies. Again we go down to an unexpected traitorous barrage of artillery fire.
It is true that both the leftists in right wing years and the rightists in left wing years tend to act like innocent little red riding hoods respectively, so we are fooled. But essentially we fall victims of Jung and Freud.

MAN who feels immigration is negatively affecting his life cannot give a single concrete example of how, he has revealed.

Roy Hobbs, is vehemently opposed to immigration but can never explain how it has harmed him or anyone he knows.

Hobbs said: “Immigration forces wages down. Not for middle-class people like me, obviously, but for simple working class folk like burger flippers and baristas. I can’t give you any examples, but a man on Question Time said it. “They’re damaging our culture. I’m not sure how someone talking Polish on the bus is harming British culture in the same way as, say, banning Shakespeare, but it probably is. “Then there’s the strain on our infrastructure. I’m pretty sure there weren’t all these traffic jams in London before the immigrants started coming.

“And of course it’s driving property prices up, although as a homeowner I want prices to stay insanely high, so I think we should cut immigration and then burn down loads of houses to maintain a healthy level of demand.

“Perhaps none of this stuff has affected me personally, but I am prepared to kick out all the foreigners on other people’s behalf. I’ve always been very altruistic.”

@Sir Mikel OBE I think our debate last night was argued from different perspectives. In retrospect I think I was debating a more economical approach versus your more cultural approach. That raises an important question; can a nation have a 'third world culture' but have a 'first world economy'? My guess is yes; when I look at nations like India that have a rich GDP but an overwhelming amount of poverty it really rings home the success of nations like America where the wealth is distributed not evenly but amongst more people.

In regards to sexuality I think that Asian men are more popular today then ever before due to metrosexuality in the western media. Asian men tend to be more svelt in stature, hairless and more androgynous in facial features; compared to me, I'm fare more 'traditional' looking, hairy, broad chest and shoulders, thick hair, etc.

The small penis could be a myth or a fact, fucked if I know, I don't go around measuring cocks. However, I wouldn't be surprised if an ethnic group has a common genetic strand that makes penis size smaller or larger than other genetic groups. Genes control everything and we are all very similar but very different. There is a reason my eyes are blue and yours are brown, my beard is redish and yours is black. Same with IQ, I wouldn't be surprised if Cambodians are the dumbest people on the earth, because fifty years ago they took all the intellectuals out in the rice fields and cut their heads off; kinda hard to have a intelligent population if all the genes that heighten intelligence are killed off.

The 'boring' Asian might come from the more reserved in public nature of certain Asian cultures.

I know a woman who has taken to court some 20-30 shops for "unfair competition" throughout her lifetime.
A certain soapy law allowed her to do that.
I don't know how many cases she won and how many she lost but I know she stopped doing it because of old age in the end.
So we 're talking about the same kind of species.

It's the same with all immigration crazies.
They don't give a dime about the whatever burglars-dangerous elements among them.
It's the industrious ones that are poking their eye.
You can bet your a**.
I know them like false coins, so that's why I 'm telling you.

There are some foreigners who are dangerous of course.
Last month they stole our rubbish (!!!).
I don't really know if it was a foreigner or a local who did it but more likely than not it was a foreigner.
How does one go about stealing one's rubbish ?
Well it was old newspapers and cardboards we put in the corridor.
I said "no it's wrong to do that" but my sister said "leave it, don't worry, sometimes we use cardboards and there is no space in the house".
But one moment we open the door and everything was gone !
Someone said he saw the one who carried them away but he could not say if he looked foreign or not.

Outside of Steven Yeun can you name one sexualized Asian male in the media today? Maybe Daniel Dae Kim, but he's a third or fourth wheel on Hawaii 5-0. That metro thing has always been for kids. From guys like Prince in the 80's, to David Cassidy in the 70's. Most women go for men's men because on the most basic level it speaks to them. Same way most men go for women with wide hips. You cant argue with instinct:lol:

Take Nicki Minaj for example:

Perfect marketing that speaks to a mans soul. Wide hips, round big booty. Thats what speaks to a guy even when society(mostly the gay men in the fashion industry) push skinny coat hangers as the ultimate ideal of beauty what a man desires still has a way of coming through.

genetics regarding facial hair seems weird. People in the middle east can grow amazing beards, inuits struggle to grow anything. you'd think that people further north would get the beard genetics

At least 30 people have been killed in an attack on a military hospital in Kabul that was claimed by Islamic State, the Afghan defence ministry said.

Another 50 were wounded in the attack in which gunmen disguised as doctors stormed the hospital and exchanged fire with security forces for several hours.

Inuits are East Asians that crossed the land bridge during the last ice age right? That would explain it. We cant grow beards for shit.:(

Having to shave every other day though does seem like it would suck though. A lot of black guys I know get bumps on their face from it.

That's because black guys have the worst hair texture imaginable. The way it grows causes ingrown hairs to develop very easily. The hair follicle is so different to the point that black men should (often don't because they don't know) use different shaving techniques and different razor blades. The closer the shave (i.e. more blades in the razor) the worse the bumps will be.
