It is not like he is playing world class since he was 19. He is only on my radar for 2 years.

According to German Media, Bayern wanted him as an alternative if Sane transfer did not happen. But when Sane got injured and Bayern came to ask for him, Ziyech already signed a new contract couple days before. Ziyech also said in an interview that he could have left if Bayern would have made a move faster before he signed a new contract, but was Happy to sign a new contract at Ajax where he feels home.
So basically Bayern fucked up like they fucked up the CHO Situation. Their Transfer Policy nowadays sucks just like ours.

So you now probably want to say that if Ziyech is so good, why did Bayern go so hard for Sane and go Harder for Ziyech? To answer that question to you, Sane is a big name in Germany due to the fact that he is German and he is also in many Advertisements, so pretty good also for Marketing reasons. Moreover, Sane is younger and was pre injury also a top class player. Perfect attributes for Bayern.

Has also been linked to Everton.

I'd presume he still has a property in London from his time with us, so it would make more sense.

Don't think he would be London-sick like Mourinho was at Man United. Depends on which mess he would like to take. Could end up having Ancelotti vs Lampard later this month!

We could be facing manager with a Chelsea connection every other month at this rate (Mou, Benitez/Ancelotti & Rodgers).

Ajax and Salzburg dropping down to Europa will make things tougher for Arsenal and United.

Just saw that Ziyech miss. Been the story of his life sadly. He's bottled it twice for us in the AFCON when he had the chance to win it.

I would lay wager Ancelotti goes to Arse, and with our luck, somehow Poch ends up at Manure eventually

Ancelotti is not exactly a strong manager when it comes to league football. Won't be concerned too much long term if he goes to Arsenal.

Also, can Ancelotti even sort out the mess there? If you look at his past clubs, he's always better when there is already a structure in place and the club just need the manager to keep things ticking.

Conte's European record is dreadful.

Suspect he won't care much about the Europa League and will throw all the eggs into the Serie A basket.

the one time he dropped down with Juve (2014) to the EL

they had 3 goals disallowed, and if any one of them had been counted, they would have been in the final v Sevilla on away goals (plus Oblak was insane in that game, earned him a transfer to Atletico, where he became now the number 1 GK in the world IMHO)
