Vesper 30,172
I think Real end up (in the next 2 years or so) with either Josko Gvardiol (if Pep fucks off and/or Citeh get hammered and relegated) or Alessandro Bastoni I think, besides Mbappe, they get (this summer) Davies for LB and eventually end up with one of Trent Alexander-Arnold Achraf Hakimi Reece James (if he gets over his injury woes and if we continue to fail) for RB and I can see them making a play for Håland down the road

You can't score with the arm, and his scoring part of the body was ahead of Real's player... It really isn't that controversial for me. The lines showed that Rüdigers toe was playing all of them onside. It was a legitimate goal but even if Bayern make it to extra time, real wins it there. They were all over them and Bayern had made the weirdest subs ever to weaken themselves further. That’s the shit abt these calls. Everyone talks about them instead of te game itself Vesper

An attacker who was a huge outlet foe them for a defender, who struggled in the previous leg, looking like they wanted to hand Madrid the initiative. Granted Neuer makes that mistake for first goal and it turns the game on its head but the Kim for Sane sub is mindblowing. I can get taking Muisala off as he was down with cramp and wasn’t particularly great throughout. Even then, in other circumstances, not like Muller isn’t a good, experienced player so it could make sense either. Kane off was also on the odd side. There will be massive inquiries into the disallowed goal by Bayern also. I mean what is the linesman doing flagging? Without that mistake and first sub, Bayern would 100% be in the CL final. Without a doubt. Sane, musiala and Kane were all due to injuries/cramps apparently. TTs hands were kinda forced even though he probably still went all defense too early

They are heavy linked with Leny Yoro for this summer so they take young French CB like they did with Varane. He's gonna be there with Rudiger, Militao and Alaba. Nothing more needed there. That team with those 3 already have no weak links besides RB. So they should take one of your list. I know you said Mbappe hates playing CF but I'm sure he's gonna interchange with Vini and Rodrygo. Plus Endrick is coming soon so yeah, new domination extremely likely.

nyikolajevics 2,698
Hats off to Ancelotti.. Many people said he was over his time after Chelsea already. 5 years he had spent at Bayern, Napoli and Everton, doing ok but not great, many people would send him to retirement. Everyone lost their shit when Pep finally won a CL after like 10 years, while Carlo quietly about to pick up his 5th.

It is rare for a man to change his ways and career trajectory at that age. I was disappointed when Roman sacked him. Thought we did ok in 2010/11 given the terrible injury crisis. After Everton & Napoli I really thought it was over for him at the top level. I am not sure he could have turned it around at any club other than Madrid tho. Getting sacked after finishing 2nd in the Premier League and reach CL top 8, seems ridiculous. On the other hand competition in the PL was very different.. Liverpool and Spurs were low, City was just getting started(Agüero joined after that summer), so second place was pretty much the worst we can got. Now it's a dream for us. Even at Napoli, they change managers every 18 months or so. For Ancelotti, I'll always see him as the AC Milan Don, then he had his vacations in England and Germany and then eventually became the legend at Madrid. The second, in 1963/64 was against Inter, 3-1 in Vienna) IF they pull Gvardiol and say, a recovered Reece down the road, plus Håland they will have 1. Best manager ever. and 2. the current or likely at that time best (on the planet) GK (a healthy Cuntois) Left-footed CB Gvardiol Best LB Davies (unless Mendes and/or Dimarco passes him) Best RB Reece (or if he doesnt recover and stay injury-free thay will go for Hakimi or TA-A, who make up the other 2 of the 3 best RB's on the planet when healthy) A Top 2 or 3 DMF - Tchou, who may well pass up Rodri as Rodri ages out (Rodri is soon 28) in 4 or 5 or so years Best straight CMF Valverde Best CMF/AMF hybrid Bellingham 2 best Rwers (Mbappe and Vini Jr) Top 3 RWer (Rodrygo) plus they will have Endrick and if they pull him, the best CF in Håaland just madness Edited May 9, 2024 by Vesper

Fulham Broadway 17,312
A newly-revealed angle has emerged of the controversial offside incident which denied Bayern Munich a late equaliser against Real Madrid, a call which Thomas Tuchel branded 'an absolute disaster'. Mazraoui was in fact onside in the build-up to de Ligt's goal, so the effort would have counted, if play had been allowed to continue Tuchel was left on the verge of tears following the game. cosmicway 1,333
Where the 'eck are RM finding the money and why are n't they limited by FFP rules ? If I was into making FFP rules my first action would be to limit RM's spending. I cannot recall a time they were n't dominating the market. A brief spell in the early seventies maybe ? Sometimes they were spending money unwisely but they were always the richest of clubs. But again how many people are RM supporters ? I mean all of us support a home team, not RM or anyone else, but we have a sympathy for certain foreign clubs and I don't see how everyone is crazy with RM.
