Jype 6,398
So he's off to Marseille then? Maybe somehow related to the Azpilicueta deal?If Kakuta leaves on a permanent basis instead of a loan, I hope we take a lesson from Barca and try to include some sneaky buy-back clause to the contract so that we can try buying him back if he suddenly flourishes when given a proper opportunity and starts to realize his potential which we all know is still there. But is it really that "easy" to just sneak in a buy-back clause. Well, we should atleast get a dips on him.

5354 204
Just put in a buy back clause at probably 20m.
LDN Blue 7,903
It's a shame, but with Marin, Hazard, Mata & Piazon ahead of him (all 4 quite young too) it would be harder for him to breakthrough now. It's for the best.
Justin_3d 1,140
And the Kakuta "Messi" (according to TX) is gone!
Madmax 9,219
Best for everyone concerned. Kakuta gets his minutes and the development his career desperately needs, we get to sweeten the Azpi deal and cash strapped OM get a promising youngster that can still mature into a good player in the future for next to nothing. It's a shame the guy hasn't turned out to be worth all the trouble it cost us. zolayes
Magic Lamps 11,692
He has still 3 years left on his contract, so we should finally receive a reasonable fee for a player from our Youth System.

I dont think he is any way near our first team and i seriously would have Gael Kakuta on our bench then him. Atleast Kakuta has some first team experience. CHOULO19 24,332
This is one young player that we can't blame the club's policy for his failure. He was given a lot of chances but never took any. Shame he never fulfilled his potential. zolayes

RhonddaBlue88 14
Very talented footballer but he aint going to break in this team right now! send him on loan this season if he fails to make an impact elsewhere..get shot!

Atleast Kakuta has some first team experience.No-one is acting like he's the 'new messi', there's nothing wrong in suggesting one youngster has more potential than another. That's all I'm suggesting. I'm not saying Piazon is going to get into the first team this season, I'm saying he's got a higher chance in the pecking order than Kakuta.
