🇫🇷 Gaël Kakuta

Dribbling's a great place to start, can he cross though? Does he track back?

Actually, his defending is one of the things that have impressed me most about him. He tracks back very well indeed.

I've seen him put in wonderful crosses as well as "Bosinwa" crosses. So that is something he will probably have to work on.

I only saw the second half.

Yeah, I found he was quite isolated, he didn't have a lot of support when having the ball. He showed a real willingness to track back and make his defensive duty. He also showed good things in attack, for example when he beat his opponent to find himself in a good shoting position (he missed the target, with his right foot).

Yeah first half he didn't do anything so you didnt miss much. He got more of the ball in the 2nd and always looked dangerous, should have done better with that chance he created for himself on the right foot. The other team were sending 2-3 guys at him every time he got the ball lol. Got subbed off in the 90th minute to a standing ovation.

his form since going to Dijon has been the most encouraging thing of the past few months ,,,WE MUST NOT LOSE HIM..

Im still pissed off at losing Borini

I am w/ you right there m8...freakin' shame we couldn't keep him, Stoch, Di Santo or Sinclair. Just imagine we had that new blood running around the pitch for us. I hate to type this, but I believe our board are more interested in the names they can put on the back of jerseys for sales. If you are not a big name in the International game, then you can't play on CFC <_<

Kakuta has a sweet left foot and I think he'd get goals at this club. I would like him to release the ball 80% of the time with 20% trickery. That was the Zidane philosophy, he used to pass the ball until the opposition thought he was going to pass it again and then he would pull of a trick that would open the game up. If Kakuta keeps moving around his area and pass the ball then his trickery will be 10 times more affective, he has brilliant vision and I'm pleased to see that he is working hard.

Di Santo and Sinclair aren't good enough for CFC anyway.

Thats funny cause they both have more league goals this season that Torres :o so what does that make Torres???? PM on that I don't want to change the topic of thread. I will just say I don't want Kakuta to suffer the same faith as those other young players that have potential we let get away <_<

Agree with that. Hope Kakuta keeps up the hardwork at Dijon and he should be able to push for a first team place at Chelsea from next season! He's still raw but he's got the ability, would be pretty useful at LW.
