I know under AVB's reign,we complained of our group of players not being world class and all but today I saw what all our players are capable of.For some reason,we were quick and playing some good football.Against Napoli,I saw most of the old guard performing well and now today we were great also.

Torres looked like a completely new player after his goal and I am glad hes finally performing for us.I haven't been his biggest fan lately but he sure has proved me wrong. My only advice to him now would be to be careful with his tackling.Don't want to see another red card and disrupt his rhythm.

Overall our players played well and most importantly played like a team. Now,they must keep up this good form and lead Chelsea to immense glory.

This might just show that besides being a good tactician you need a motivator.

AVB was woefull...the way he treated players was poor.

Reports are out that Chelsea are after Van Gaal....same situation. Might be a good tactician but not a good man manager.

RDM is just the opposite, he has been motivating the players since he got the job. But as far good tactician is too early to tell. We will have to wait for a whole season to judge that.

Can somebody post the ESPN post match interview? Can't access it in the US.

Disregard I found it. The interviewer was a d*ck. Love how Nando called him an "expert".

Great, Torrres scoring Ryan getting more games and he was not bad today.

All we need is to see some more of Romeu and Lukaku and we are golden! blue%20scalf.gif

I think with figures like Lampard and Terry in the team, you just need a motivator like RDM.Anything more than that will not be really helpful at all.

I disagree. I think Sturridge will be extremely useful against City. Yes he is selfish but he brings a lot to our attack.

He hasnt been useful for a long time. Btw did you watch the match today? There were at least 5 times where if he passed we would have scored. His selfishness knows no bounds.

Please, are you kidding? He had some great runs and showed good skill. That long ball from the defence which he took down SUPERBLY, the messi-esque goal he almost scored near the end.

I agree he was extremely selfish. I am not going to defend him about that. It pissed me off too. But we need him IMO. We can't play both Drogba and Torres. Can't trust Malouda and Kalou.
