If I were in JT position,I would look for any high profile person saying "guilty",and suggest the possibility of not having a fair trial.

Joseph Barton

@StanCollymore that would be the low. Not having the b*llocks to take responsibility for your actions? I'd rather be a man and go to jail

He should retire...he will be massacred by the media either way, but the "fans" will know his worth. I cant name a player as committed as him (england or chelsea) so wats the point of continuing to represent england if hes constantly abused... Fukk em all theyre not worth it it.

No Terry and no Rooney i think the FA should take the blame when the team fukks up at euro...im sure Capello will have something to say to the FA when his team fukks up.. He should choose his captain, or maybe David Bernstein should manage the team if he and his board r so convinced theyre doin the right thing.

I always thought in order to succeed in football you need some intelligence... but looking at players like Rio and Barton, I fail to see it. They just can't keep their mouth shut about things that don't concern them, that's probably why Barton is such a dickhead not only on the pitch but off as well.

Joseph Barton

We all know what was said. Its there on TV for all to see. Do I think hes a racist? No. I think hes said something really stupid in the heat

He and more importantly Anton do not KNOW what was said in which context, complete farce of a witch hunt

Correct, Rio irks me even more than barton to be honest. I laughed when he was talking today about thinking he had been fooled! This from a man who could be dazzled out of concentration by a shiny piece of paper

Fuck Rio he acts as if this matter has something to do with him... boohoo my little bro has allegedly been called black cunt, I'm all drama queen now. Seriously, if their family is as cuntish as they act, I'm not surprised Terry called Anton what he allegedly did.

your original post a few hours ago declared " I KNOW HE IS GUILTY"

My original post states he made those remarks and that i think he will be found guilty. Not to say I want that is it. Your last post declared "I'M A MELT" or have i got that wrong?

My concern about this case is, what repercussions it will have on John Terry (the Chelsea player, not the England one), and on his team-mates/the team...?

Okay, he seems to respond well and to up his game when he is heavily booed, as he did against Tottenham and QPR. But how will he react now he has lost his armband in the National Team, for the second time through "scandal" ? And most importantly, how will his teammates be affected by this stuff ? I just hope it won't have bad effect on our team.

Did anybody see Jamie Redknapp and Gary Neville talking about the Terry situation pre-Newcastle match. They're both against him getting the captaincy stripped, citing innocent until proven guilty and how they're setting a dangerous precedent etc

That's really surprising coming from them. I wouldn't have expected that, to be frank.

Yep. Gary Neville wrote a brilliant article in the Daily Mail about this, I've lost the link, but have a look when you can. It's brilliant.
