Hahahahahahahahaha ! You win the delusional of the year award. Congrats! Do you even football?

No way Oscar would have better stats. He isn't that kind of player nor has the talent. It would mean he would have to make best player of the league as well.

Please, be real dude. Oscar hasn't done anything past few years to warrant such a bold claim despite our high hopes for him after that one night against Juve. Before you say Mickey Mouse league, think how we would have looked playing Bayern a week ago....

It's a Mickey Mouse league whichever way you look at it as Bayern can buy whoever they want and no other German club can do anything about it.

Every few years you'll see Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Schalke, Bremen put together a strong team and really give Bayern a run for their money...but other than that, it's a one-sided league

I actually think he will be good for them.

But like I said if you look at the past City have not been something amazing.

Might play a couple of great games but tend to fall apart later.

So because of that I was never really scared of them.

Noticed the last two times they won the league tittle. It was the worst of the bunch!

They have never been an amazing team that blown everyone away and run away with it like we did last season.

That's why I always felt they was never a real tittle challenge for us if we are in a good standing. Now it might level the playing field and give us a proper go till the end.

We have a good team and a good manager, we are not the Chelsea of two seasons ago and will go for it again.

City are now going to lose the good balance they had in their team, it was working well, using Navas, out wide to stretch teams which opens up space for making everything go through Silva centrally, De Bruyne will want to come inside which means less space for Silva.

City were also starting to counter attack more this season and it was working well for them, now they lose the pace of Navas and therefore be less of a threat on the counter, so they go back to how they were last season, and have only really improved their left side with the Kolarov and Sterling partnership, this De Bruyne signing is a strange one imo, and I think the saying 'if it aint broke don't fix it' will come back to haunt them

City before used Silva and Nasri a lot. That wasn't bad either, so it's more then likely that KDB replaces Nasri and that would be a nice upgrade.

I'd love Nasri at Chelsea. It won't happen, but if he was to get a bit fed up of being second-choice to Pellegrini's "projects" in KdB and Sterling, who he has to play based on their transfer fees, I'd have him in a flash.

It's hard to perform when only playing 90m of competitive football every 6 weeks. That's why a lot of Chelsea's fringe players move out so fast. Mourinho rarely rotates his squad.

Great on the one side, because the starting players gain a lot of chemistry. The downside is that fringe players have it very hard. They only get a few minutes to waste some injury time and are then asked to step it up and show it during a league cup game. Some players are great impact players and can deliver straight away, others need a couple of games to get to their best form. Mourinho's handling of his fringe players is a just criticism seeing how many have failed to step up in the 2 years since he got back.

De Bruyne was behind in the pecking order to Oscar, Schürrle and Ramires who was often used as a RW. Schürrle who has been struggling to get game time at Wolfsburg where De Bruyne has delivered.

Your point based on both players' performances at Wolfsburg is fair, but the fact is Schurrle looked like he could deliver a telling goal or assist whenever he played, whether as a starter or as a substitute. KdB, not quite so much. Mourinho was justified in selling him at the time.

Goal wise he can. Maybe not assist wise.

Ow, but I totally agree with this. Thats why i said 'before you go on telling ...' I meant it as a disclaimer (if that is the right word in English)

It is utter bullshit to say we could "impossibly have known that De Bruyne would develop into such a big player in only 18 monhts after leaving Chelsea."

De Bruyne has been absolutely brilliant everywhere he played, Genk, Werder Bremen, Belgium, Wolfsburg. His impressive season at Wolfsburg was no more than the normal continuation of his natural development. It was only interrupted for a couple of months - what a shame!! - at Chelsea.

So stop acting like we got rid of a shit player who by some amazing turn of events started developping into a wonder player. Miracles don't exist.

I remember Belgian CFC fans like myself being called stupid Belgian fanboys every time we complained about KDB not playing. But we knew how good he was, and how extraordinary he'd become. That's why it was so frustrating for us to see how he got completely ignored by Mourinho.

+1 +1 +1

Totally agree there, KDB was a really good buy personally was excited about the thought of him playing in blue shirt. Unfortunate that we don't utilize some of the great buys to their potential. I can see something similar happening with Piazon, Bramford, Van Ginkel. I would have kept him instead of chasing behind Pogba who costs crazy money.

Just imagine last minute he does a Pedro :P I would love for that ( but that is never going to happen)
