He is truly the closest thing to Lampard in world football. How a manager that has trained and won b2b titles with Lampard as a focal point his team failed to see this defies any logic.........

Love Lampard as player but Kevin is a different player. Faster and technically much better than Lamp

To me he was more like Gerrard, this is why I thought Liverpool would have tried to get kdb as a replacement of Gerrard.

Oh well better at city then Liverpool.

I think he's quite unique, KDB. One player I would liken him to is mid 2000s Gerrard, when he had a bit more pace.

I remember when I read somehwere that KdB was rated as having a higher potential than Eden Hazard in Belgium by the footballing touts.

Eden is a classy player and at his best unstoppable but KDB seems to be more effective with consistency!

Mourinho really fucked us with this one. Oh and Mata and Lukaku ermmm anymore!!

Retard!

Yup people were complaining about our board dumb team building. We had Kevin, Lukaku and Felipe Luiz in our team.  For some reason somebody didn't want them and didn't want to play them

Ok guys, why the heck Chelsea bought Schurrle and Willian in 2013 when they already had Mata, Hazard, Oscar and KdB ? One of them ok but two ? Wouldn't it be wiser to spend 30m£ on central-midfielder since we started that season with only  Ramires, Lampard, Essien and Mikel ?

That's what f*cked KdB here. 6 AMs for 3 spots with reluctance to rotate.

This guy has Gerrard written all over him and top season behind. Board would be huge idiots to loan or even sell him. Instead of ud, should he be player of Bvb, the whole fucking world would want him and he would be worth 25mio with ease to compare with today prices. But as he is chelsea player, we would sell him for 15mio. Ffs Porto rates Mangala for 30. 30! Last time for us to start rating our players higher. Kdb is certainly player for future and I want him at Sb next season.

Once ours, now best player at City and still very young.

In the end, its just very sad that no one at chelsea saw what me and plenty of other fans saw.

You know, United had same thing with Pogba, Barca with Thiago, but we are the club that cant afford such stupid shit.

The problem is, we dont learn shit. Kenedy who IMO could end up a realy good player, but Im certiain that we will fuck it up somehow.

I wish mourinho seen that in him instead off selling him at the time mourinho was at the club

Part of me is a bit relieved that all this happened under Mourinho. Because for many years no one can do better. The big shadow of Mourinho at the club was a bad thing for everyone.

But after his second spell everything fell apart and now the club no longer has that shadow lingering around.

Now it's more like as long as you don't do bad as Mourinho last season then you should be okay.

With Mourinho we went from the sublime to the ridiculous. One extreme to another.

That shadow is still lingering around as most of the first team squad are 'Mourinho' players.

We should have sold some of the first team regulars (like Matic, Ivanovic, Oscar) and brought in fresh faces in the transfer window

Our squad is the same as last season apart from 1-2 changes...and as a result, we will continue to see the poor form/inconsistencies from last season.

Conte is a fresh face but everything I've read/heard about him from Juventus/Italy supporters suggests that he is a man motivator, rather than a brilliant tactician.

It will be interesting to see whether we can finish in the top 4 this season...as our only convincing performance has been against Burnley
