KDB didn't fit into Chelsea. He will not fit fit into Chelsea now either. We've had top notch players that didn't fit in. It's no big deal. Salah, Cuadrado, Andre, etc. etc. The list goes on. ts life deal with it. Its akin to you having the dream or perfect girlfriend, but you're both not compatible in a relationship. Its not rocket science, it happens.

Players can leave and do well without it being a mistake, how many Barca fans do you reckon even remotely care about Yaya Toure, let alone cause massive uproar about it?

He's gone and done very well, fair play, but will I be thinking of De Bruyne when Hazard has one of his touched by God games, or when Pedro slams home his 15th goal of the season? Not a chance.

Think those are different cases.

Yaya left knowing how good he was just like Pedro.

KDB is a totally different case. Is like having Hazard and letting him go after his first 6 month with us......

See if we let go of Willian and he goes to do amazing oh well, he had his chance here. KDB never really got much of a chance and that's what bother people here.

Like Mata a lot of people was sad over it, but he got his chance and he left.

He is going to win them the league like Fabregas did for us. In fact unless we get Pogba and a defender think we will be fighting for the 4th spot with Liverpool as MU and Arsenal are definitely taking the other 2 spots.

We're stronger than Utd and Arsenal. We'll finish second at worse, but City aren't anything special IMO. They beat us and have looked good, but you don't win a title after three games.

If they lose Aguero; they're in trouble.

You can say the same about Costa tbh.

You could, but Remy delivered when called upon last season. I rate him higher than quite a few do around here.

I know and I like him a lot but Costa is our main man and is pivotal for us. I think Remy would do fine for a few set of games. Whole season not so sure. Same with City. I think if Aguero got injured for a few games they would cope with Bony who is a quality striker. Over a whole season, not too sure.

I guess we both hope Costa's injury issues are behind him and his temper doesn't get the better of him.

Don't give me any shit about him not being given a chance when he was here. He was given enough to stake his claim at the start of the season. He was utterly abysmal against fucking Swindon Town in the League Cup and that, justifiably, saw him lose his place full-time to Willian, who hit the ground running.

I have no regrets in us selling him. There's no way we could have known he was going to develop into the player he has, but he certainly wouldn't have at Chelsea. It's like the Matic situation - he went to a smaller club and got the necessary game time to develop. If he arrives in England and is absolutely outstanding, then fair play to the boy, but he was nothing special when he was at Chelsea and whilst he has clearly improved, he simply isn't a £60m player. If he's given the game time and the chance to develop, he could turn into an excellent acquisition in the long-term, but I think anyone expecting him to tear the league to pieces immediately will be left disappointed.

But when you're competing with Hazard and Willian, you're not going to get into the team unless you're an outstanding talent. At the minute, as much as I have been impressed with KdB in the Bundesliga, I'd rather have Pedro, without any question, based on his compatibility with our team's system and Mourinho's philosophy. No way is this kid, who is totally unproven in the PL, worth the amount of money City are investing. He's a massive risk, and right now, I'd say Sterling is better value for money.

It's hard to perform when only playing 90m of competitive football every 6 weeks. That's why a lot of Chelsea's fringe players move out so fast. Mourinho rarely rotates his squad.

Great on the one side, because the starting players gain a lot of chemistry. The downside is that fringe players have it very hard. They only get a few minutes to waste some injury time and are then asked to step it up and show it during a league cup game. Some players are great impact players and can deliver straight away, others need a couple of games to get to their best form. Mourinho's handling of his fringe players is a just criticism seeing how many have failed to step up in the 2 years since he got back.

De Bruyne was behind in the pecking order to Oscar, Schürrle and Ramires who was often used as a RW. Schürrle who has been struggling to get game time at Wolfsburg where De Bruyne has delivered.

Around 20 ml (including bonuses) per year, scandalous, mental, overrated all day long.

That is what a serious share of this forum said when Hazard came. People got banned because they got violent trying to say Hazard was overrated, overpriced, a cunt for promotions himself on social media, etc. It was quite bad at times after the first few matches when he performed and than lowered his performance. We learned - I hope.

It is all very relative.

Ps: i do find it scandalous in a "people shouldn't be payed so much, cause there is so much poverty in the world" kind of way. Im quite serious about this, but i don't think that is why you call it scandalous, right?

80 mln for KDB and 20 mln per year. come on man we all know this is scandalous. Overrated player who can't compete for his position. I'm not saying but Jose did.

Yup overpriced maybe, but cannot compete is a bold statement. Im watching city with interest now. They will have a good team and im not living it !
