bluesman2610 1,417
Brilliant for grabbing goal today ..Hoping to see him in the line up sooner rather than later he can be amazing for us if given a real run of games
kellzfresh 7,229
I almost forgot how good he was at finishing, fantastic day for chelsea attackers
SykikJV 146
Actually, it wasn't that great performance from KDB, second time after the Croatia-game. But there are some positive signs. I noticed three things : - KDB is lacking in confidence. He lost more balls and gave away too many bad passes for his standard. - That being said, he is trying really hard not let it affect his overall game. He always kept asking the ball, trying the passes he normally tries,... He tries to take his responsibility, even when he's not in his best form. - He looked extremely motivated. From the start of the game he started running and I don't think he stopped for 90 minutes. Even though the game wasn't all that important anymore, he worked his socks of, in an effort to get back to his normal form. Is there a website to check how many miles he ran during this game? The goal was an excellent finish and you could see in his celebration that it meant a lot to him in the current circumstances. After the goal he gained confidence and started to play better. Could have had a second goal if Bakkali gave the ball to KDB instead of Lukaku. Hopefully the goal will help him to get back to his best at Chelsea. Tomo 21,751
De Bruyne needs to look at Andros Townsend and follow his example.Play well enough and you will be on the team sheet regardless of who you are competing with.
bushman 2,043
How can yesterday´s goal help KDB so he can play better ?If everything goes as before KDB will sit on the bench. Jose´s project, I read.
Neira 19
Sitting on the bench would be an accomplishment. It will be the stands for many games, starting this weekend.
Weckerz 3,781
Whining in here isn't gonna solve anything though.. He's a talented kid, but right now, taking form into account, he's our 5th or 6th AM. He'll deal with it, train well and go on loan in January if things don't improve for him. Korea 734
I'm really surprised KDB is getting overlooked over Mata as a RW......I can understand Willian and Andre...

ChelseasMessiah 304
AS a cam he is..However, right side, I'm not really sure...I honestly think he is, Mata earned his reputation as a top-class player in Spain playing on the wings. The only thing he lacks to be a truly great wide player is raw pace, but him and KDB are on the same boat in that department, but I'd argue Mata is slightly faster and more mobile, quicker on the turn, etc.
LukakutoStamford 779
KDB is a far better crosser than Mata. KDB isn't a trouble maker but if I was his agent I'd be pressing for a transfer do he can play on a full-time basis. It doesn't seem likely he's going to get what he really needs which is playing at Chelsea.

KDB would just about walk into any 11 in the Premier League bar ours, Citys, and maybe Spurs. Uniteds and Liverpools he'd get in blindfolded doing handstands. CHOULO19 24,332
Have you seen Mata crossing a ball before? Look up his assists last season, some were mesmerising.I must disagree, mate. Kevin is one of the best crosses I've seen. Mata's crosses, are a bit hit-and-miss. He's capable of amazing ones, but he's also capable of some horrendous ones, especially from set pieces where he (like Lamp and Hazard) often can't miss the first defender. Neira 19
Not even benched, again. This lad should leave asap, he is waisting precious time. Gorando
ParNolio7 285
As for us selling a major asset to United, never gonna happen. Kevin is staying with us, if he goes, it will be on a swap deal for Pogba or on loan in January so he can get definite playing time. KDB will be flattered by your consideration, but Mourinho doesn't regard his as a major asset. He wouldn't be watching the games from the stands then, would he? Chelsea attacking midfield is overcrowded and Mou will be happy to sell his ginger rubble to any club that thinks he's worth anything around € 20 mio. And so he should, no point in wasting his talent any longer in the Chelsea B squad.José is only interested in the proven stars, he can't work with a young talent, always been like that. Was the same at Real Madrid. His big mouth made him the great coach he's now considered to be, not his talent.
LukakutoStamford 779
It's not like Kevin is some unknown player or an 18 year old. He's 22 and is the main cog in Belgian NT attack. He needs to start so if Jose is going to dick around then De Bruyne needs to leave. Most assuredly he could help United. He's better than what they have on the wings and Van Persie and Rooney would thrive with him. He's far from perfect but he's someone who can play like crap and tends to get into the rhythm of game the more he plays. Obvoiously Chelsea isn't selling him to United, but he needs to play every day and not be ridiculed by being put with U21 team. This is a point that Mourhino has wrong. Mourinho may be dicking around in other positions where we lack personnel but not in the three behind the striker. At the moment Kevin is sixth choice, it's a meritocracy that's divided in two aspects; intrinsic innate talent and level of performance.Kevin is a great player, but not greater than the other five. And yes, as I've said before, KDB would walk into any starting 11 in the PL bar ours, and Citys or maybe Spurs, he's that good. semiller1313 and Barbara
