robsblubot 3,595
heh for some reason I thought he was lightweight, but from the video he looks pretty strong. Really looks like he could play anywhere in the midfield.

Popular Post! Magic Lamps 11,692 Posted July 18, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted July 18, 2013 Finally we have someone to take our corners from the left, since we have mata on the right were set. He will become our best direct freekick taker if he isnt already. His technique and curl on the ball is as class as the best out there, i love him already. I can imagine him and oscar, two attackers that have high energy and intensity will make our game so much balanced.I really love what i see Lamps is one of the most prolific corner takers in permiership history...but we probably need his height in the box more nowadays with our midget team. Tchekitchek 37
De Bruyne is a more powerful, no nonsense option compared to the other technical players. Mourinho loves powerful and disciplined players. kellzfresh
Pacquiao 1,834
He reminds me a lot of Mata, with his world class passing ability, very good set piece taker, he see's a pass early like Mata and has the ability to open up a defence with one pass! he is like Mata but with more power and better defensive ability. Cant wait to see him progress this season! kellzfresh

TQB 19
If Barca takes all the credit for tapping up talents, why shouldn't we... no its our youth system... In that case ... Yes, Chelsea has a world class youth system with "youth" players like Hazard, Oscar, KDB, Lukaku, etc Bir_CFC
Leif 6,006
What I see in De Bruyne is a more versatile David Beckham with more pace, not quite as good set-pieces (but close enough to that godly level Beckham once possessed) and better shooting. Both were never very good defensively but manage to make it work if deployed in a central or deep role. Both are gods at crossing. Both are magicians with long passes. Both have an awareness and vision which is oh-so rare. Only 1 inch difference in height. Both are incredibly 2 footed.Sure, Beckham was deployed as an actual right-sided midfielder where-as De Bruyne has been deployed as more of a proper winger, but I really think they have uncanny similarities. Feel free to compare De Bruyne to another 'great' if there's someone he's more similar to, but I think it'll be a struggle coming up with someone. Dion 2,476
Impressed with his passing range. I'm a fan of long passes. He looks like the type of player I enjoy the most to watch, I have a feeling he might be my favourite Chelsea player in the future. Fernando 6,585
He has a Gerrard esque feel to him. But what's great about him is that his ball passing and movement go with purpose and pace! Not like mikel slow as shit sideways, backwards fuck me passing!
Fernando 6,585
If Romeu ever comes back from his valencia loan, he would be a great compliment as he has a similar style to kdb in the passing department, but with dm capabilities.

Still, he looks more skillful than Gerrard.
Gorando 184
De Bruyne is unique. Stop comparing him to inferior players lol
The Mak 4,459
I love the fact that José purposefully paired KDB with Lampard for training. No doubt to learn as much from the master as he can!
