EskWeston 696
I think in all honesty De Bruyne will go out on loan for the season. I know Bremen are interested and we seem far more keen to send our players out of England for their loans but it would be far better for his development if we can get him to play regular for a premier league team... BlueSanti 290
It makes sense for this season atleast.Flo is on the last year off his contract, he is leaving next May regardless, it makes more sense to just sit him on the bench while De Bruyne is out on loan playing week in week out improving and boosting potential re-sale value (which is vital considering FFP).In sense of new events ( singing Oscar and Essien looking good ) I reconsidered it. I still would be glad if it was premier league or championship though.Selling Malouda would be great considering FFP as you say.
Tomo 21,751
Selling Malouda would be great considering FFP as you say.Malouda's wages do not count towards FFP and i can't see us getting a great deal of cash for him, so if we can use him for a year as the bench player while De Bruyne goes on loan and boost's his development aswell as potential re sale price, i don't see the harm personally. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
After the way things have unfolded it would truly be best to keep Malouda. KDB goes on loan, Malouda will IMO be content with playing a lesser role and be a Bench player for the last remaining year on his contract. He also gives some experience to the likes of Hazard and Marin etc. In one years time he is gone and KDB would be back. Tomo
Hamilton 2,120
Reports over here say that the loan deal to Werder is finalised. He allready had his medical over there and he will join the team this week..
Kajo 176
Keep Malouda ? He even sucks at pre-season games. If u want Malouda to stay it's clear that u haven't seen him playing last season. I would rather keep KvB because he can improve and I can't say the same about Malouda. It's time to say goodbye.

Funkyflashman 187
Think it's for the best. I'm really excited about KDB but can't see him getting much quality playing time here. A season in Germany is a step up from Belgium so he'll be raring to go next year maenbolaboling
Duppy Conqueror 1,534
as i said earlier in the thread. if he had to go on loan it`s probably the best possible place for him. he should be able to get in the team but they are still a competitive team in a good competitve league. if he had gone to a lower level EPL team that`s fighting to stay up he may not have been used right if atall down the stretch. i feel good about this loan. good luck KDB francozola

BlueLion. 21,491
Win. Keep Malouda for a season (he's still an excellent squad player, don't care what anyone says regardless of how frustrating he can be) and then his place as a non-Brit in the squad goes to Prince Harry, who, in the meantime gets regular game-time in one of the world's most competitive leagues. francozola and Tomo

Think it was the PSG one or MLS all stars... Though if he was to go then it would free up a space and allow another squad player to come through so i don't particularly mind... Some of his performances in times of hardship were nothing short of unforgivable!
