Mr_President 404
So A COURT OF LAW finds him innocent, but the FA charge him as guilty. Makes sense. The criminal court and the FA work on different levels of guilt. In the Magistrate's case the prosecution had to prove that Mr. Terry had used racially abusive language 'Beyond reasonable doubt', Cole's evidence and other factors provided that doubt but it was clear that the Magistrate did not buy Terry's story at all (if you read the case summary). The FA, however, work on a 'Balance of probabilities' which leaves more room for doubt and I'm almost 100% Terry will be found guilty on these grounds. I don't condone racism but the hypersensitivity in society nowadays is beyond ridiculous. If a different ethnic race called me a white prick and i reported it i would be laughed at so why is it different? Ryan Fong 2,776
What can I say, the FA are just trying to cover their embarrassment of taking off JT's armband unfairly.JT has been proven innocent by this country's law, and now the FA are going another way?! I mean seriously?! What a bunch of ignorant dumb ass.
zolayes 14,489
Come on, racism towards black people is MUCH more sensitive for obvious reasons. The only obvious reason is many people make very good careers on race issues .. Lord Ousley being a prime example ...Look at the Members of the House of Lords who have got there on the back of race politics

Muzchap 8,966
So the FA think they're above a court of law? Idiots. They are and will always be idiots! Until they are replaced and the way that football is governed is changed. What they are relying on is a lower burden of proof, than a court of law has to consider. What I find inconsistent and fecking annoying is that both JT and AF should be charged - it can't just be one and not the other...Another waste of time and money coming up... synavm 4
He has already been found guilty by the FA. It is simply a matter of placating the anti-Terry media and justifying the decision to strip Terry of the England captaincy and keep it off him. Thank God the balance of probability isn't applied in a court of law, that's all I can say.

Jype 6,398
To be honest I saw this charge coming a mile away despite him being found not guilty by the court but I was also expecting AF to be charged as well because clearly he used offensive language too. Ferdinand may not have used any racist remarks but he was still abusive and the FA charging JT but not AF is just hypocritical. And nice to see Rio Ferdinand getting away with his choc-ice twitter bullshit as well. Stats 7,142
I think the FA are charging Terry reluctantly but don't want to lose face if they did not charge him and to avoid angry back clashers and for numerous reasons questions will be raised and compared to Suarez if he was not charged. Disappointed but expected it tbh
Kieran. 6,317
I think the charge for a racist slur is 4 matches. Suarez got 8 cause he allegedly repeated it multiple times.
