So, Cahill has practically won the lot in 3 years since he joined us - FA Cup, Champions League, Europa League, League Cup and Premier League. Not bad.

Hopefully he will add the Community Shield as well in a couple of months. His English set would be complete.

Only two club trophies missing. Let's hope he makes that one in August.

Lol!

Jay is right - it's just an over-hyped friendly - doesn't mean crap ok to the English Media it does but realistically it doesn't mean crap - doesn't count towards anything - still if it's le arse then Jose will pull out all of the stops - I don't think he could bare losing to the Woolwich Wanders & le voyeur

I agree, but a trophy is a trophy. We want to win them all.

There's been a bad omen with the Community Shield recently, where the past 4 winners haven't gone on to win the League....

Having said that, i dont think i'd mind losing to Villa :Goober:

especially if Guzan was the GK - besides we would have a pitch invasion

It was Mikel who lost track (some things never change) of Gerrard for the goal, if that's what you're referring to.

He was holding mikel I think , so mikel lost his man

Still laughing about him pushing Mikel away from Gerrard for the goal. Marked Mikel completely out of that set piece, brilliant defending!

Thank fuck it was in a dead-rubber game this time, though.

Eh?

Mikel lost his Marker, Cahill tried to cover.
