Ampadu is definitely an option, but it simply mean that Conte trust Ampadu over Rudiger. 

 

It's not like Bournemouth have giant attackers. Azpi would have been fine and he wouldn't have lost every foot race like GC.

It is true but not so sure how comfortable azpi playing that position since he is not really a cb by nature

In our whole team we have choices between bad and worse. GC is barely a footballer by nature, Azpi wouldn't be worse no matter who he naturally is.

Yeah to sell Ake for him was another bad decision. But tbf neither are our level. Both Ampadu and Clarke-Salter are superior talents imo. We are fine with regards to centre-backs, we just need to get the selection right. It is not Cahill's fault he is a mediocre player and defo not a ccb. it was Conte who made him captain and who played him.

he's being paid millions to perform at an elite level, hard work is no big deal, its a basic requirement of any athlete

To be fair to Cahill he has been more than decent for most of the season. Other than the games against Bournemouth and Burnley he had not many bad performances. Obviously he hasn´t been as consistent as Azpi and Christensen, but Luiz and arguably Rudiger played worse than Cahill this season so far.
