Well Jagielka and Lescott were both hopelessly shit against Ukraine and Baines wasn't much better at LB so there's a good chance he'll come back in soon. He chose Jagielka because he has played with Baines and Lescott at Everton so there's more of an understanding. When Terry and Cole are back, Cahill will be back and instead of an Everton trio (i know Lescott now plays for Man City), it will be a Chelsea trio.

Sorry a bit off-topic:

Lescott isn't remotely good enough for England IMO (don't think he's good enough for city either). Jagielka prob deserves a call, but there are better options to start. Cahill is better than both.

He doesn't look spectacular or flashy like Luiz but as usual, he was reliable and solid.

That one moment in the second half where he ran back at good pace and produced a brilliant tackle to win back the ball as Stoke were on the counter was great!
