Hasn't got the legs to play at this level. We will get found out more and more often the longer he continues to play. This was not the game to give him 20 odd minutes and expect him to make an impact.

no one likes seeing their club losing but you're just really overreacting here.

He does it every weekend. He's the definition of a troll.

Don't be ridiculous man, we were going for the win, not sitting back, of course you'd throw on a goalscoring midfielder like Frank on.

Spot on.

There was space for our midfeld, and we (Ramires) were wasteful.

With that posession if he was on in the first half we would have done a lot better AND he might of scored . Busy and bright when he came on . Has been the link with Hazard and co of late ,it was missing today with Rammy and Mikel having shockers.

lol

You really hate english players. Lampard has nothing to do with the result. I think at that time it was really unnecessary to bring him for Mikel, Bruyne for Mata, with Hazard playing in the center would be a more effective weapon, but its weird to talk about him after this match.

Not talking about just yesterday, but in general, if you want to score, especially against a weaker team that will defend deep, you don't take off your holding midfielder because he is crucial to retrieve clearances and recycle the ball. In fact, Italian managers used to put in a midfielder in for a striker when they needed a goal because the key to scoring in those situations is to keep the pressure on by keeping the ball in the opposition half.

This was evident yesterday. Once Jose brought on a striker for a midfielder and took off our holding midfielder we couldn't pin them back and put pressure on them and didn't really look like scoring.

Badly missed yesterday ,Rammy was isolated and looked terrible yesterday but he was alone in there with Mikel doing his usual nothing ,the class that Lamaprd has shown recently was not there and I know he needed a rest ,but this performance is always on the cards when the back up is Obi Mikel (hauled off again after another cowardly effort) full of slow sideways passes and a lack of bottle and guts ,Mikel was walked over by Stephen Ireland :D ,the class we saw against West Ham and Sunderland was missing yesterday and the Mikel ,Rammy partnership was awful .

I would love to ask Mourinho why he plays Lampard literally every game. There is no other manager in world football who would be doing that.

I would also love to see us play without him in 5 consecutive games to see how we'd fare.

wasn't really bad actually, was ok like the rest.

And Ramires had to rest a little so..

This is old news, but did Mourinho really say that Cole, Terry and Lampard were getting contract renewals next season?

Mourinho is playing the psychologist for a bit of extra motivation for some of them. There is no way in hell he thinks Lampard deserves another year given his expectations to always play. There's no place for him in the midfield duo if we wanna get any where when it comes to competing with the top dogs.

Is that a question? Lamps and JT will probably be here the season after next as well . This is widely reported, Jose is not going to see the heart of Chelsea thrown out of the club before their time is up it really is a no brainer . That is why Jose is a the best manager in the world and forums are for gossip .
