CHOULO19 24,332
Frank on the Olympics:http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2787732,00.htmlWho would be in your Chelsea 4x100 metre team?Daniel Sturridge, Ramires, Branislav Ivanovic, he's a powerhouse, and Ryan Bertrand.I never realized Ryan was of the fastest in the squad. BlueLion. 21,491
U MAD BRO?!No longer Zola then? Zola was an amazing player but Lampard has been here longer, scored more goals, won more titles. The ultimate gentleman and professional. He epitomises everything great about this generation! xPetrCechx and Term-X
Nedy08 27
I dread the day we let go of Lamps, Terry, Cole, and Cech. KonohasOrangeFlash
Ollie 4,400
Lampard indeed should be voted our greatest ever. He's achieved everything and done so much personally. The 5 of Cech, Cole, JT, Lampard and Drogba will never be matched. Soon it'll be a new era, just so glad this era have won the lot. I still think Frank has 2 years left but as a Scholes/Giggs-esque bit part player to help around the squad.34 but still at a top level. FormerRussianSpy 163
Yeah baby! gThat is such an incredible record when you consider how much emphasis is/was put on the offensive contributions Gerrard/Scholes/Giggs by the media. Lampard has 50% more goals , but gets far less coverage tbh
Hutcho 8,443
Probably in the wrong place as obv isn't a possible transfer target but couldn't find an existing one.A report from the daily mail (not the most reliable source)http://www.dailymail...o=feeds-newsxmlsays that want the GREATEST MIDFIELDER TO EVER PLAY THE GAME.I say they can fuck off.And i doubt he will go, but whatever happens he will be the biggest legend (IMO) to ever put on the Blue shirt.LAMPARD = LEGEND. p.s. If in the wrong place or one already exists feel free to delete the thread.
Kezza 1,965
They'll need at least 35mill and 180,000/wk to land lamps. He'll retire here. No fuckin doubt.

Kezza 1,965
In reality if he's true to his badge he will retire here. If he wants more money and his wife wants the LA life, he'll go. Simple as.
Jase 43,479
He should retire here. Greatest Chelsea player ever. There should be a contract talk between him and the club coming up in the summer. That will perhaps tell us more about his future.
The Rising Sun 711
In my opinion, there are two options and both are good,We keep him and his experience and passion for Chelsea will continue. We sell him and that allows our club to move on to a newer style of football, different and more equal dressing room atmosphere, as well as one less old guard ego to contend with. That also depends if we can land someone like Modric to take over. The americans will pay a premium for him, unlike other european clubs, and since its the american adventure, he might just go.I know he is a legend, but that does not mean he must retire here.... even if we sell him now, which might just be good for us, considering there is a plan to change personnel and strategy, he will still be a chelsea legend.I really think there might he might get discontented this season with lack of playing time.... Everytime i think of a line-up, he's not there in it, so im scrambling to try and make space for him or try to make a formation work so that he can get in. Its the wrong way of doing it, and with the players that have/will come in , from a club perspective, we can make some money and also let him leave, but only to America. or China. LDN Blue 7,903
I don't understand why people think he should retire with us.I'd personally love if he left for the MLS when the time is right. We've seen he doesn't have any desire to quit playing any time soon, we've seen how he responded to AVB trying to reduce his playing time etc. If he really wants to play week in-week out, then let him move.Just cause he doesn't retire here, doesn't make him any less of a legend.
