Rambo 1,729
Not sure. He is a really good coach, but that doesn't mean he can be a good manager. He might be better when in the shadow. But the thing which is sure, is that we should have take him back last year, when we could have. Fuck you Gourlay !^This. Seeing him with the Scousers doesn't sit well for me.
francozola 2,040
yep especially when they show him (well they're showing Queen Kenny but he's in the background) when their anthem is being played. bleh.
Ollie 4,400
I think we should've done because i think things would've carried on pretty much the same way as Clarke was here and knew how things were.Should give the job to Brendan Rodgers in the future. Fantastic manager.
Badboy 1,526
He was the manager after Mourinho left. Avram Grant had no role to play, Steve Clark tok us to the CL final like Mourinho said.
Endrit 39
To be honest, it was Clarke who took us to the CL final and took us close to beat ManUnited for the title that year.It is all Cpt. Hindsight talking, but we might as well have given him the job officially. We should have given him the job and it was a slap in the face for Steve giving Grant the job... Shane 2,275
The fact that we kept getting new managers in was embarrasing for Steve tbf, don't blame him for leaving.
diskoviolente 425
The fact that we kept getting new managers in was embarrasing for Steve tbf, don't blame him for leaving.exactly. when Chelsea signed Scolari i knew that Clarke would put up with that after the Grant fiasco. Just thinking about the way the club is dealing with these things. So annoying. It can´t be right that given our Manager-Hotseat-Situation and the sucsess we´ve had with that behavior is not relating to each other at all. It´s a bit like Real Madrid. Amblève. 4,995
Our board shouldn't have done a lot of things, but they did...
diskoviolente 425
yes. It seems that a wealthy club, funded by someone like Roman, and a reasonable chairman (like Peter Hill-Wood) won´t go together. Let´s get not into all that Anti-Wengerism. You get my point, i think. warnie_666 1,081
No shit...One of the top asst managers in the league. How he still is an assistant is beyond my reasoning..
diskoviolente 425
After the next shakeup at Liverpool Clarke should go and become a manager of his own. If they can´t win anything and build on something he is overdue to get his carreer going. If it is his idea.
Steve 10,227
Simple answer, yes. But there is no point looking at that now, that was well in the past.

Exactly what I've been wondering. I don't think he relishes the spotlight, rather be the genius behind curtains.
