Should we have given Steve Clark the job when Jose left?

Not sure. He is a really good coach, but that doesn't mean he can be a good manager. He might be better when in the shadow.

But the thing which is sure, is that we should have take him back last year, when we could have. Fuck you Gourlay !

^This. Seeing him with the Scousers doesn't sit well for me.

To be honest, it was Clarke who took us to the CL final and took us close to beat ManUnited for the title that year.

It is all Cpt. Hindsight talking, but we might as well have given him the job officially.

We should have given him the job and it was a slap in the face for Steve giving Grant the job...

The fact that we kept getting new managers in was embarrasing for Steve tbf, don't blame him for leaving.

exactly. when Chelsea signed Scolari i knew that Clarke would put up with that after the Grant fiasco. Just thinking about the way the club is dealing with these things. So annoying. It can´t be right that given our Manager-Hotseat-Situation and the sucsess we´ve had with that behavior is not relating to each other at all. It´s a bit like Real Madrid.
