Bailey is an interesting signing by Villa. Couple years ago he was rumored to be on the radar for some bigger clubs too (including Chelsea) but for some reason a move never happened.

Even if they're losing Grealish, they've now signed Buendia and Bailey in attack so they should be able to handle losing their star man pretty well.

the thing with bailey is that on the pitch he has not really improved since those rumours. maybe a few more goals than the season before but his impact on matches has drifted a bit, he has not really found any consistency. So, Leverkusen were quite happy to let him leave. Villa is probably a good step for him.
