Sheva. 5,373
^Ramires---RomeuSturridge-Mata-Kalou--------Torres/Drogba-----------Don't think AVB will ever use 2 strikers normally lol.
BlueLion. 21,491
Did he? When I was watching it I thought we were playing with 10 men. This whole idea about Drogba being some sort of menace by just being on the pitch is a myth. But you can't deny his heart is in it, even if his head is not, certainly more than Torres "offers". nullabletype 987
Here comes whoever we drag from the crowd!!!I've said it before and I'll say it again. I've got my boots cleaned up, and just waiting for the call from AVB.
chrismada9 1,948
But you can't deny his heart is in it, even if his head is not, certainly more than Torres "offers".It's because Mourinho had faith in Drogba.. Avram Grant even somewhat had faith in Drogba.... but people like Shevchenko and Torres have been somewhat left in the shadows of the manager and haven't been able to show their true quality! Laylabelle 9,535
And the whole Drogba wanting a 2 year contract or whatever he wants....odd way of showing why he needs it!
robdog 2,084
I watched some of the Stoke v Villa match on Boxing Day. Noticed that Bent wasn't playing. Was that because Villa was playing for a draw or there some other motive?? I guess the question I have will we see him on Sat???

CHOULO19 24,332
Apparently Bosingwa is fit for the game. I'd rather Paulo plays tbh.
Ollie 4,400
Hardly full of optimism. We're playing an awful, shit, boring McLeish team but this certain team seem to do pretty well against us and we're playing shit atm too. We've drawn 3 in a row, Villa have lost 2 and drawn 1 so it's gonna be cagey, tight, nervy.... think we'll just about sneak it but it wont be pretty. teignman 441
My wishlist for today's match:1. Play with passion and vigor.2. None of this pensive, ponderous bullshit. Quick, incisive passing, and switching play. I understand there are times to slow down the tempo, but don't do it for the vast majority of the game.3. FFS don't concede any silly goals. Concentration for the full 90.4. Vocal home support. Create a hostile atmosphere. That Fulham match, and a few others this season, made the Bridge seem like a monastery. I don't blame the players for not giving 100% when we are being outsung in SB. (Well I do still blame them but perhaps a bit less)
