Badboy 1,526
You are comparing generations here. Times have changed football has become a business not just with Chelsea but with all the clubs.Man Utd started the trend if we didn't follow it we would have been in the championship. Also you talk about atmosphere. The atmosphere has died down at OT, Emirates and Liverpool. It is not just because Roman bought Chelsea. Things have changed, and you change with time.Don't you think its a bit of a shame though ?I know what you mean Steve -takes ages to load a post sometimes -think its because people have these animated gif thingysI have noticed that too Greg, the forum is so slow its not funny. zolayes 14,489
Do you bear grudges against players that have not done that in past seasons? Although this season they are giving 100%, Anelka and Malouda are two that have not given us 100% effort in previous seasons (the Grant era was the most prominant)I don't bear grudges against our players ,,,something in the bible about a sinner repenting..... A lot more women go to the Chelsea games now and you see a lot more women wearing Chelsea kits in London too.

dave30 728
i think just looking at some of the reactions on the Chelsea - Arsenal thread show what a majority of Chelsea ( online at least ) fan base has become a bunch of spoiled glory hunters . Henrique 9,133
I prefer the Chelsea FC fans before Roman arrived.Nevermind. Chelsea is becoming the Chelsea before Roman. Just look the PL table. Some fans are not prepared to support big clubs. Thats the problem with people who dont like the "new Chelsea". Peace. 4,352
Glory hunter... A word misused.Indeed, what being a glory hunter means ? It litterally means to seek, to research for glory. A glory hunter will support a team who is currently playing well and in a winning form, and will change of team as soon as this team starts to lose. Now, do you honestly think that a glory hunter will bother to post here after two bad games from Chelsea ? No. Do you think a glory hunter will be pissed off after a defeat ? No. He will suscribe himself in a Man City or Barcelona forum.I do not see glory hunters on this forum, and I don't think there is any regular member who could fit this describtion. What you are calling "glory hunters" are actually fans who bother about Chelsea, and are angry after a bitter and humiliating defeat. And to end off, what piss me off, isn't those fans who have knee-jerk reaction, but those who use "glory hunter" so easely. Kojo 4,676
Don't know how anyone can be a glory supporter if you went through last season, also this season unfortunately.
