This is the best possible way I can think if resting players, the only problem is Cole. Bosingwa needs a rest to get sharp again, Terry should come on later in game. The one to watch out for here is Meireles, he is the most lethal player in the prem when given attacking freedom, which Ramires has. We will see a different player if he is played like this and in this formation.

Apparently Genk have a massive defensive injury crisis, only one defender is fit and avalible and he is still awaiting his debut.

Totally forgot about Ferriera, we should play him LB, and Ivan can play a full game, then we rest him on Saturday and play Luiz, Luiz shud be able to play twice this week.

Bertrand's not in the CL squad. But otherwise I like your line-up, should do the job... Torres is playing well with Danny and Anelka, Lamps and Meireles ahead of Romeu could do a decent job and the defence line looks solid, maybe Alex could get a run instead of JT maybe.

I believe so. Expect a half empty stadium for this game, boycott or not. The game has little significance, it's a pretty much guaranteed win + high ticket prices.
