Special Juan 28,141
Astronomical amounts? United paid 37 million for a player worth around 25 millionIt was, he wasn't playing and was benched more often than not.
zolayes 14,489
now Im just hoping they make Giggs the permanent manager....
Special Juan 28,141
Moyes thought the pull from United was the club, the stadium and the fans......wrong. It was Ferguson, that's where the downfall came in my eyes.
The_Flash 1,144
He was never the right guy he has embarrassed them, lost them a ton of money and broken all kinds of negative records. Now it's going to be very hard as they aren't going to be in the champions league next year.Perhaps if that Everton game showed anything it was now a new manager at Everton could take a club Moyes couldn't for 11 years to near top 4 and do the double of Utd .It was oblivious he didn't have the respect of the players or the fans. Chosen one my ***They should give it to Giggs, yes he may not have managed before but other than Fergie no one knows Utd before he has been wining trophies there since the PL inception.I think they should think long and hard this time. Fulham Broadway 17,316
The Ferguson fear factor is missing and United will never be the same again. The bullying of officials and players, the decisions at Old Trafford, the intimidation of the FA, Fergie time, the pettiness of refusing to talk to the BBC for years, all added to the Fear Factor. Most United fans are global armchair supporters uner 30 , who will just as quickly switch allegiance to another shirt -probably Liverpool. The havent seen United scrapping to stay in the 2nd division, and havent known hard times. The tapeworm at united, the Glaziers, know this, hence with money dominating every decision along with the New York share price, they are not prepared to give Moyes more time to build.End of an era

Ed Woodward was called a genius over the Mata deal, yet for me, he has a fucking lot to answer for in all this.

Ferguson claimed they said he could have it, which led to a bitter legal row. McManus and Magnier washed their mutimillionaire hands of United disgusted at Fergusons behaviour, which opened the doors to the bloodsucking Glaziers buying the club. Jase 43,479
Would have been quite an 'experience' had Moyes became our manager last summer as if you all recall, there were talks of him possibly coming here..

He'd have gotten the sack in November and we'd have ended up with someone like Capello or Hiddink for the rest of the season.
Blue Traveler 256
HAHAHAHAHAHA..... What a double-faced, hypocritical, sly, repugnant football club.....How they were quick to blame us for sacking managers and not giving them time and chance to do their job! and we were against world with all media behind them craping us!Now they sacked THE CHOSEN ONE less than a season! Term-X 7,891
What an ego trip it must be for Ferguson though, the more they decline the greater his legacy will be as a manager.

Fulham Broadway 17,316
Turns out Moyes had to be sacked before the opening of the New York stock exchange ie 5am, to avoid any charge of insider trading. Shares now up 1.5% on NYSE. The Glazers must be pleased.Modern football -pass the sickbag
