I'll give you my two cents about what happened.

They had two strikers and had to offload one through loan. they put both in the market and waited for the best business. For them it doesn't matter which one of them left because the third striker will be used scarcely and they're trusting on Eto'o and then on Torres, so for them, this guys that will play under 10 matches is a non-factor.

The best deal came for Lukaku - which is obvious. Lukaku >>>> Ba. So Lukaku is out.

Fair enough with all parts involved, especially Lukaku if you ask me. He'd be frustrated knowing he'd be third best. On a kid his age he needs to play - although I think we would benefit from training with Mourinho too (although I have to give other style of players would benefit from training more than him - for example Kevin)

I get that... makes sense from a business point of view but from a footballing point of view this doesn't sit well with me. Fernando beyter fuckingg produce this year or I will do what we jave all dreamed of doing.... sniper that dude from row Z!

Why? I don't understand the obsession with young players. A young promising striker who has barely played for Chelsea and will be playing for another team and you want him to score more goals than our strikers? Why???? Why not just hope he develops and comes back to Chelsea a more complete player and able to lead our line next year?

Because the club has been fucking foolish with how they're handled him to start this season. He should be first choice after the preseason he had and now he'll be banging in goals for another club. Makes me absolutely sick.

I will tell more ....

He pushed the transfer due to a lack of confidence (maybe/perhaps) and WBA pushes back giving him that confidence.

What will happen next year? This is the second time he got run over by his team.

I say it is bad, bad business. Not because I am a butt hurt belgian (Lukaku isn't my favorite at ALL) but this is not how you treat youngsters. Simple.

We will see next year if he has learned more, became a beast and puts a transfer request in.After two year he will have his loyalty towards WBA as Courtois has towards Atletico. Then they become top and our team will have lost them.

If we don't watch it, we will do the same with Chalobah and others (As I think MvG might be the first).

No judgement, I just think it is a vision on youth I do not share right now.
