drog.ba 239
I would recall the likes of Piazon, Atsu and Traore because believe it or not, they're good enough to be on our bench. Also, people need to cut it the "hes too young" crap. if a player is good, he's good. Look at Adnan at UTD. he's by far their best player this year. You can't compare Piazon and Atsu to Januzaj, maybe Traore can make a bigger impact, but neither have the same talent. It's not always about players being given a chance, Untied before Januazj hadn't brought anyone top quality through for years. I don't see any of our young players other then Courtois really pushing for minutes
Azpinator 2,325
What is actually your motive to compare Robben to Messi , really? I was talking about Robben and you brought Messi up, thats a straight comparisson. How many big games did Messi bottle? How many big games did Robben bottle? Now tell me that Messi bottles them constantly just because he didn't show up in the games vs Bayern. You were saying that he fucked up by missing that penalty at the final, I said that Messi missed a crucial penalty as well in the same season. So missing important penalties can happen to any player and it's not a criteria to judge players based on that. Gilvorak
drog.ba 239
Since when are the Belgian and Dutch Leagues weaker than the Swiss one?Basel are playing in the Champions League, it's not all about the league anyway. Do you think if we played Thorgan or Piazon they would be a success? Stevenx131313

lionsden 4,689
Thorgan and Piazon will struggle to make an impact here- they are playing in much weaker leagues. I think the policy, especially with signings like Atsu is that you buy cheap, if they dramatically improve, great, If not their value has risen and we can profit on them- like with De Bruyne. Im sure if we were to sell Courtois, Lukaku, Atsu, Piazon, Thorgan etc. we would make money. They are low risk signings, a couple might be good enough, the rest we might even profit on.Have to agree. Everything about us screams short term. The future will forever be neglected.Continually hearing people praising Mourinho about the Mata transfer because it'll help "Utd take points off our rivals" made my stomach churn. The bolded sentence further proves my point and I have heard Neil Bath, emenalo and Steve holland say something to that effect. even if it's true (arguable as it's never that black and white) how can we expect to produce the next JT with such attitude and mentality when we will simply just dismiss their performance on loan to weak competition at a lower level to us and never give them a proper chance. You don't hear bayern munich use that weak reasoning to doubt Alaba's ability and performance on loan at Hoffenheim then sign an established or flavor of the month left back to take up his spot in the team for example. Do you think if we played Thorgan or Piazon they would be a success?Thorgan played in a Champions League qualifier and did extremely well last summer. He also created more chances than any other player in the Europa League. He was just awarded the Golden Foot yesterday, already has a Belgian cap to his name and his widely accepted as the best player in the Belgian League. How is more of a risk than an average winger from an almost amateur League.
silviupastean 135
come on, make it official already! although i don't hate him for leaving, and the cash is pretty good ( hope it's more than 37mil quid), i fu*kin' hate that he's going to manutd. this move is going to bite us in the ass some day. We need a right-sided one to replace Mata in the squad. You think Wenger has developed so many of these stars per chance? How many 18 year olds has Wenger handed debuts to this year? Gnabry? How many has Mourinho? Baker.Mourinho needs to establish a side first before he starts introducing youth. I've grown to accept this and give him a chance. Term-X 7,891
And you don't have the like the manager's style of management to be a true fan. Torres gets all sorts of abuse and vitriol on here yet it's acceptable. It's Chelsea FC not Mourinho FC, he has his own share of faults.Mourinho is Chelsea now, Ferguson was in charge of the team at United, he wasn't a coach.. he was a manager.Torres is a mere player, Mata is a mere player, Mourinho is... Chelsea. sdrcfc

Popular Post! The only place to be 11,313 Posted January 23, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 23, 2014 Zola, Robbie, Didier and Lamps are Chelsea to me.That's nice, but Jose was key to changing the mentality of this club. Roman provided the cash but Jose provided the character, and it was that character that was still in the club when we beat Barca and Bayern to win the Champions League in 2012. The resilience, the strength of will, the backbone....that was Jose.He has been one of the most important men in our history and without him we don't have Drogba and we don't have the Lampard we had for almost a decade.
