coolhead23 1,147
Whether Mata is world class or yet to be one, one thing that i started admiring about him is his commitment, its just top draw, cant doubt it. That's the kind of players u want in your side who can keep pushing and inspire everyone around. I just so glad that we took him before Arsenal could take him. Hats off to u, Juan Mata :tophat:

Just a true playmaker and wants to make things happen. Not afraid to get on the ball and dictate things. We need someone like him. I thought Kagawa would be that player but Kagawa doesn't get on the ball often enough to dictate things.
Styles 9,790
Strong second half and unlucky not to get the winner.
Milan 17,956
I was literally praying when he was lying on the pitch, holding his ankle. How devastating it would be to lose him even for a couple of games only. Thank god it was nothing!
DH1988 1,348
So frustrating first half when the other team has energy to hussle and bussle himSo key second half when the other team is mentally tired and physically less so than the first half

Mata maybe great but he can't do it all alone. Others have to turn up as well.
DH1988 1,348
Agreed however it is a trait with Mata that this happens which is why I can't blame Rafa for benching him and bringing him on for impact play, much like Hazard.
The only place to be 11,313
I'm pretty sure that the player of the year ballots go out this week. Not a bad performance to put in and remind people just how good he is.

Miguelito 459
His face when he missed the chance at the end, actually more like when de gea made the save of his life, was filled with sadness. He looked as if he was going to cry. This is probably my favorite thing about him, he has passion that you can't teach. He loves the club and he shows it every game. Such a great guy. Not a bad performance to put in and remind people just how good he is.Really pisses me off when I constantly see Mata not even mentioned in some people's top 3-4. I'd personally go 1) Suarez 2) Mata 3) RvP RvP has way too much help to be considered Player of the Year. Others are saying Michu, but to me he just looks good in an average side. Bale's stats aren't even as good as Theo Walcott's yet people are saying he's the 3rd best player in the world. xPetrCechx

Milan 17,956
All of Juan Mata's 10 goals this season have been scored with his left foot - the only player to score 10+ goals with the same foot
