the guy is in love with the club ,,,dont send him out on loan till after Xmas ,,try and give him some time on the pitch ... needs to

wear the shirt before going out on loan.

My thoughts exactly!

There is this special 'moment' & Atmosphere around Lukaku these days. He signed at Chelsea to see his dream come true. His video turned up... Fans are loving his passion for the bridge... and he REALLY wants nothing more then walking through the tunnel to the pitch...

Don't waste this moment by loaning him out to another team. This guy is 100% a blue. Use this moment... maybe something really amazing can happen! If he's able to score a goal quickly and he feels that our fans are supporting him... I predict he can have an amazing start in a Chelsea shirt!!

Every time a ball is send in deep and you think the pass is to wide so the defender will without any doubt be the first on the ball... Lukaku almost always seems to have that extra acceleration it needs to get on the ball first. He really amazes me time after time!

And not just once... I think I saw more than 30 games with him in it.

Conclusion: YES, He is really fast!!! B)

Just out of curiosity... Is he Flemish or Walloon ? I did heard his parents speak french, so I assume he is waloon...

He's neither actually. He's from Brussels, that's a whole region upon itself.

@Nic do you think he is more of an Adebayor then a Drogba. Also how highly do you rate his finishing ?

Between those two, Drogba then. But I think he's more Bent-like. Something between Bent & Drogba.

No, he's not. He was born in Antwerp (Flanders), grew up in Bornem (Flanders) and went to school in Anderlecht (Brussels). As a result, Romelu speaks fluently Dutch, French, English and more. That's what we call multiculturalism at its best, I guess?

Oh so he has bent like movement in your opinion ?

I think it's too difficult to compare him with Drogba, Bent or Adebayor. It's just Lukaku... with his way of moving and playing.

Certainly not an Adebayor. Ok they're both tall and black... but there the comparision stops. Adebayor has really thin and long legs which makes him look like an elegant high heel runner :P.

Bent is more in the direction of the way Lukaku moves but still far off. Don't forget we compare a 5'11" & 165lbs dude with a 6'23" & 206lbs massive dude B)

Drogba also is somewhere in the direction of Romelu... but still isn't comparable to the style of Lukaku.

Lukaku is more about power. Drogba is more about finesse.

Just think of Lukaku as being a massive tank (of a body) who is suprisingly fast, has a very powerful left foot and just pushes his way through the defenders.

But still has good technique!! You will be suprised by his quickness of feet and skills for such a big guy!
