Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku has such a nice deep and calm voice, he made ppl think he was smart despite being daft as a brush. So he is like the opposite of Werner and Chilwell who sound dumb as toast but possess at least average intelligence.

Chilwell I’ll give you, but I’ve never got the impression from Timo that he’s dumb. Just sounds kind of shy.

He speaks with this huge lisp, which for a German always sounds a bit childish bc our language is a lot about the exacting pronounciation of s-, ss-, z- and ß-sounds.

Mount seems quite brainy as well - for a footballer

The part that blows my mind the most is he apparently idolises Drogba.

He literally couldn't be so different from Didier in both playing style and mentality. He obviously can't help not being as naturally gifted as Drogs but you would think his mentality would have rubbed off on him a bit.

On a separate note, Lukaku vs Drogba is the perfect case study on why you can't solely judge forwards on goal stats alone.

Yup, Drogba was the ultimate big game player

Knowing Italian TV they led him up the garden path, lets be honest your average footballer isnt the sharpest tool in the box

But its not even being smart! Even a moron must know that a interview especially if gossy will be translated and published. I'd love to know his thought process. If there even was one.

Many players say they want to return to their old club one day and it's not cause for problem.
At least if there is no big rivalrly between the two clubs, in which case it's more likely the old club fans who won't like it.
But what do you think are the offensive things Lukaku said ?

He does seem a bit of a manchild. The other thing is Republica, and La Marca in Spain regularly publish bullshit stories trying to destabilise English teams, especially before CL games

Yeahhh..do think most if it to start with is true. But now he has opened his mouth its a case of digging up any dirt now, abroad and English media. Sells a story, creates a stir. Lots of people can write their own articles

The offshoot of this could be a more consolidated, stronger team with Lukaku a big part of it. Gotta be positive.

In a weird way, this might just be what the club needed to re-ignite the season.

We've always seemed to relish and bounce back amid chaos, and this whole situation may present a scenario where minds are focused and any frustrations or issues in recent weeks are sorted out.

Tuchel will come out of this in my opinion with a stronger position, and for Lukaku it may light a fire underneath him where he has to start again from scratch and prove himself at this club.

There is zero chance of striker Romelu Lukaku leaving Chelsea this summer or this month, there is a commitment now from all parties for the Belgian to now let his football do the talking.

Hppeulfully this will be a kick in the right direction. Gotta prove himself now he is worth it assuming he wants to
