He has probably been the best and most consistent goalkeeper this season together with Roman Weidenfeller of Dortmund. If he will go on loan another season we will not see him again

With Mignolet's expected move to Liverpool, he will get a lot of spotlight. Courtois can compete by playing regularly at a top side.

K, this might be an old post, but:

You can be 100% positively sure he won't come back as a backup. Not even for one season. What exactly does he need to 'experience'? He's probably the best keeper in Spain already, and by then he'll have 30+ caps plus a possible world cup tournament behind his belt for one of the top teams in Europe. It's Cech or him, you'll have to get rid of one of them.
