Sidzeret 2,257
Thibaut Courtois close to extending Chelsea contract until 2018That could mean he is one step closer to another Leti loan spell.
CHOULO19 24,332
That's could mean he is one step closer to another Leti loan spell.I think it is very likely that that has already been decided along with the Costa deal.

Hybrid Angel 2,130
So with Cech being injured, does this increase the chance of Courtois staying with us next season? Because as far as I know a dislocated shoulder is very hard to come back from. Also the other problem is that once it pops once it is bound to happen again and with Cech being a goalkeeper it makes it even more likely. If yes, Welcome to London Courtois. Mong630 7
But Cech is a fighter. He came back even better after the head injury.Seriously? Before his head injury he was flawless in 99% of the games. After he clearly makes 5 to 10 pretty big mistakes every season. Mistakes that cost points and of which you expect your GK not to make them.Courtois should come back anyway. Former Dutch international keeper waterreus said it again on Dutch TV yesterday. According to him Courtois is already the best keeper in the world and he only gets better.Sure it would be nice to keep cech, who still is a more than decent GK and get a bag of cash for thibaut but we dont need extra money and a club like Chelsea should only settle for the best. And between the sticks its courtois for years to come.

Even Petr himself says so and he was actually voted player of the year by Chelsea fans in 2010-11.I'm sorry, but this "not the same since the head injury" is just crap that people keep saying without even thinking about it. pHaRaOn and laura90
pWneR 230
Ok, Cech might come back even better, but for how long will he be out? He's not young anymore either, so it will take longer for him to recover. We can't go for first few months in to new season with a backup keeper. I love Cech, but this is great chance for Courtois to show if he deserves to be Chelsea's number 1.
