Jase 43,479
good move... this means kdb will get his oppurtunity...TBF, think even if Marin stays, KDB will get his opportunity and more than Marin.
blu35_army 551
i smell this loan is a part of Kondogbia deal!!! so Marin Loaned + maybe £10 million is a good bargain...
IliyaDamyanov 43
He was and still is a poor buy....he will never be a player that will feature properly for this club, just sell him.you deserve a permanent ban for this !!!!!!!!!

Popular Post! TorontoChelsea 4,064 Posted June 29, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted June 29, 2013 good move... this means kdb will get his oppurtunity...Doesn't effect KDB at all. Chelsea still have Mata, Hazard, Schurle, Oscar, and Moses at attacking midfield. Marin didn't play last year when we had less depth. He wasn't going to play this year at all either. bushman 2,043
Ironically, it's post like that which explains why this thread has gone up to 63 pages compared to the other regular first teamers. Granted he wasn't good at all, had injuries and all that but to call him a joke?! How else would you describe his performances at Chelsea ? He is not Chelsea´s material at all, at least to me. Azpinator 2,325
So now we're all experts on each player's development? Good, then here's my opinion: He was robbed and he will have the chance to prove people wrong at Sevilla. Muzchap
Styles 9,790
Here's hoping he does well enough there to make it a permanent move but I won't hold my breath.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
He has definitely played his last game for Chelsea (whenever that was). If he does indeed do well at Sevilla, who is he going to come back and replace? De Bruyne? Of course not. Schurrle and Moses? We need their type of player far more than we need Marin.Well Marko, Sayonara.

How on earth was he robbed? he couldn't keep himself fit and when he did play he did what i thought was impossible and made Torres like Messi. He showed absolutely nothing in any game he played, he was invisible. Peace.

Rafa, on the other hand, improved Azpi by selecting him most of the time but he favoured Benayoun to Marin. I've seen both Benayoun and Marin play before joining Chelsea and Marin by far is a better choice for multiple reasons: a- crosses b- dribble speed c- age Players need play time to improve and Marin was robbed because he didn't have enough play time to adapt (unlike Azpi). Made a debut in Fulham game for 10 minutes, and then a couple of times he came on after the 80th minute and you call that a fair bit?He played 15 times overall, starting 3 or 4 games only. And then people say he's not Chelsea material. It's unfair because if Torres had the same amount of playing time in his first year, would he be "Chelsea material"? Give me a break! Hypothetically if we paid 50m for Marin I bet most fans would be singing a different tune by now. Muzchap
LDN Blue 7,903
It's a shame because pre-season 2012, he showed some real potential in his Chelsea career. Looked like a guy who was able to dribble down the flank and cross the ball. Unfortunately I think he just became disillusioned being behind the pecking order of Moses, Mata, Hazard and Oscar. Not to mention, the injury he picked up when he was on good form, it went downhill from there.Seville can give him more time & trust if he fills the void Navas has left. It remains to be seen if he gets that. Bosnian Blue and Azpinator
teignman 441
Even if he regains some semblance of form in Spain, I still don't see him really getting much time for us. Hopefully, he does well for Sevilla so we can eventually get a good transfer fee for him. reLo
