royg 96
I'm no professional footballer but i believe every player would love to have a debut goal and that's what happened to Marin. During his Bremen stint he have sometime the best assist record in Bundesliga, so I'm saying he is not a selfish player.
capriccioso 2,545
I was obsessed with this guy 2 years ago after seeing him run the show in a CL match against someone or other. I think he lost quite a lot of that potential in the intervening years, so his chances of being a God like player are gone. He should still be a pretty good player though, but when Ozil left it was a huge blow to Marin's development.

Ollie 4,400
Do you think Marin will be first choice? I really hope so, he's been our best player in pre season so far and has shown real nerveless displays, playing with freedom and showing off his pace. Whereas you have the likes of Kakuta looking absolutely desperate to impress, you have Marin who knows if he just plays his normal game he's good enough. The last 2 years have been a bit of a waste and blemish on his career but hopefully he's joined a team that suits him. Looks like an absolute bargain so far, hope he continues to impress. termninja 5,290
I like his mentality, he works really a lot on the pitch and seems like a great lad. I'm really starting to like him Duppy Conqueror
Jase 43,479
Unfair to state that he should only be a squad player.Have been saying that for awhile now. Absolutely criminal to just write him off and brand him as a squad player. BleedsBlue
We Hate Scouse 10,326
Unfair to state that he should only be a squad player. But he didn't cost over £25 million and isn't incredibly over rated. He has no choice to be only a squad player I'm afraid...

Chelsea? 892
He's done good. But I fail to see what he can do that Danny cant, yet we praise Marko and criticise Danny Bambiny14

warnie_666 1,081
I posted in the past when people were going on about Hazard that Marin would be the Joker of the pack. I am very impressed with him. With Mata needing some rest, I hope Marin, Oscar and Hazard start

Just ask Torres or Shevchenko. capriccioso

royg 96
I don't think so. Selfish players like him are usually not very consistent. As i mentioned before, a player such as marin who have a distinctive assist record in bundesliga is not what you call a selfish footballer.
