Lamps might have got on if we hadnt used 2 subs for injuries..

atm Im not convinced Frank should start

Good point. I agree with Layla also. So I'm talking shit and my opinion counts for shit, that's nice to know :). I just don't get it, Lamps adds some creativity to open the attack and you's don't wanna see it? Weird.

Ivanovic and Mikel but AVB says they're not that serious. Mikel's injury (sorry to say) was probably a blessing in disguise for the game.

The Ivanovic one is a real blow, especially now, I hope he is fit for monday.

About Mikel, why was he even selected over Romeu?

Yeah but thankfully Luiz is going to be back for Fulham. Iva's injury did look like a hamstring though :o Hope it's not too bad.

No idea. People were saying in the match thread that it's a good move because he slows the game down and in theory that's fine and all but every time he had the ball, it looked like he was going to be bullied into giving it away

We new the score when AVB was appointed, the best thing that would have happened is his Porto momentum carried on (it's worth remembering Porto were also in crisis and on the back end of a horrid season when AVB took over) the worst is not too far off what has happened (but compared to last season's horror show im not too disapointed).

Can we remember the situation midway through the last campaign?

Malouda and Anelka despite awfull displays kept getting into the team while we had a young and hungry Danny Sturridge who we were in serious danger of losing.

Ramires, Mikel and Kalou were the only regular's under 28 (Josh in a sense aswell as he played pretty often back then).

Constantly been putting rigid and static displays for the last couple of months. With no passion or creativity.

Thinking about it properly are we really in a bad position (especially long term) compared to this time last year?

He really is being shown up now Romeu is about. Yes can hold the ball but is often lazy and definitely too ponderous.

What is that even supposed to mean? I remember plenty of analyses when we got him and not a single one was based on "momentum".

Back to AVB -deserves some credit for the past month.

For one thing, this is the first not dissapointing December in years. Finally we'll enjoy our Christmas.

Back to AVB -deserves some credit for the past month. Thankfully got over the pig-headedness of insisting on the kamikaze defensive set up and restored some balance in the midfield

I agree, hopefully he can bring in the right players this transfer window.

I blame the players!!

They are so lazy,Show a lack of caring and desire!

The manager is responsible for picking out the team and motivating them. Clearly it hasn't happened against Wigan and Fulham.
