Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

Romeu isn't descending into obscurity. He needs time to cement his position in our first team. So far he's tasted how does football here look like and he can build on that.

Well Lukaku's position is quite complicated, I think he would play more if Torres was scoring regularly.

Why is that?

Cause I remember when Drogba was scoring regularly a couple of seasons back we did not gave much chances to our other youngster strikers like Borini and such.....

Do you think in 2009/10 Borini was the same player as he's today.

I think the same can be said about Lukaku, Ryan, and Josh.

But if you are brought to improve what Carlo was not so good at, to infuse our youth to the team, then what improvement is it?

It is why that is one mandate he had from the beginning, and his cause was not helped by hardly giving any minutes to some of these players...

I remember people complaining about how our youth going to improve if all you give them is 5 or 10 mins at the end with Carlo?

Well AVB has been far worse then that scenario!

  • Calling for an evolution and not revolution.
  • Trying to force his style of high line with a team not build for such a style.
  • Mismanagement of some great servants like Anelka and Alex.
  • Lack of youth integration into the team.
  • Continued support for Torres.
  • Arrogant towards the help of others.
  • And stating he needs no support from his team but only the owners.

Clearly AVB is guilty as he stands, but The Big Kahuna, Roman, will have the final verdict.

Will he forgive AVB for his sins? Or cast him out of his kingdom?

Its not AVB who supports Torres.... Its £50M that says he should play.

Regarding support from the owners, thats a fukk u to lamps and drogba which they deserve...and this time i think Roman sees the fact that the old guard's gotta go rather than the coach.

As I have said in another topic, you shouldn't judge whether André did right or wrong with them two. Because you are unable to hold a judgment, since you don't know what has happened. Unless you are in the know, which I think isn't the case, for all of us.

anyone else worried about his health? He seems to have aged an enormous amount since he arrived and he shakes a lot on the bench. If this job is affecting his health at 34 he should leave as soon as possible for his own good.

It's a tough position for him. When he was at Academica things were good and he had success. Then he had huge success with Porto and now even half of our fans are against the poor guy. It's not an easy position to be in.

We have Eva so don't worry ;)

If the job is affecting his health then that should be the main priority. He must be immensely stressed, particularly with the way things are at the moment. If he feels that he can cope I am willing to give him plenty of time to shape his own squad but I don't want his health to be compromised. If he is in good health I am fully behind him.

Pro-Quoted from the last ever Blackadder:

Edmund: You see, Baldrick, in order to prevent war at Stamford Bridge, two superblocs

developed: The high earning, prima donna players on one side, and the

manager and the board and guv'nor on the other. The idea was to have two

vast opposing armies, each acting as the other's deterrent. That way

there could never be a war.

Baldrick: But this is a sort of a war, isn't it, sir?

Edmund: Yes, that's right. You see, there was a tiny flaw in the plan.

George: What was that, sir?

Edmund: It was bollocks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sums it all up for me.

he shouldn't feel that much pressure and to an extent what happens in a footballing career (playing or managing) will always blow in the wind.. he knows that, he's been around the game and the business, and he is young in his position.

we should recognize that he is like a hot prospect of a manager, andre still has a lot of top top level experience to acquire and time to develop more his way of doing things. if andre stays with us i have no doubt he will continually improve-- and more importantly, give the club an identity that its been lacking since jose.

What stressed? He gets 20M if he gets sacked and a top job.

Graeme Le Saux pleads Chelsea patience with Andre Villas-Boas.

Former player Graeme Le Saux believes Chelsea should be patient with under-pressure manager Andre Villas-Boas, and is hoping the former Porto manager will remain at the club "for many years to come".

Does justin still post?

Marca are reporting that Chelsea are apparently interested in two managers; Bielsa of Athletic Bilbao and Unai Emery of Valencia.

The whole Bielsa thing supposedly being link with Chelsea arises as soon as I come back and post about Bielsa. <_<

Really? I haven't actually noticed.

I don't think it's affecting his health, i'm sure he can handle the pressure. He seems pretty calm in the press conference.
