Exactly. If it is true, then it's another evidence of player power. They already got their vacation in Mallorca, now after putting in a diabolical performance they think they deserve a day off (sunday or not, it doesn't matter). I just say that at the start of the season most of us (including me) felt that Benayoun isn't needed at chelsea and were backing the decision to loan him out. So it's not fair to blame our Manager..

That they loaned him to Arsenal is something I don't appreciate either and he looked good. but we were hunting an outstanding midfielder and it seemed like we would get one so they loaned him out. Because of the Squad Rules his spot was required. It's not AVB fault that our board (again) fucked it up
