The owner? Abramovich is the owner and why would we sack him?

What do you want AVB to do with group of players who dont care and should have been broken up 2 years ago. For him it is like trying to build a bridge with sand. He has nothing to work with.

Where do you read sack The Roman Empire?. So we should keep the coach and SACK all players?.

So it is time to look back at a comment made by an analyst amongst AVB appointment as Chelsea coach:

Exclusive - Souness: Chelsea should never have axed Ancelotti

Graeme Souness believes Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made a major mistake in replacing Carlo Ancelotti with Andre Villas-Boas.

The Blues paid £13million in compensation to make Villas-Boas their new boss in June after he rose to prominence by leading Porto to four trophies last season.

But Souness believes the 33-year-old’s achievements at the Portuguese club have been played up too much. And the former Liverpool boss is convinced Villas-Boas, with just one full season of management behind him, will struggle to achieve more than his predecessor at Stamford Bridge.

“Chelsea are a concern for me,” said Souness, speaking to Keys and Gray. “The new manager and his new [backroom] team are relatively inexperienced. I worry for Chelsea. I just didn't see any sense in getting rid of the previous manager. I thought Ancelotti was a good manager, tried and tested at the highest level.

"The guy they have got in now is untried. Being successful in Portugal, where I worked for two years, with Porto, isn’t the biggest of deals. The way they have got it set up there, from the president down, they are more or less guaranteed success every year there."

Souness believes the fact Villas-Boas never played the game professionally, as well as his relative managerial inexperience, will see him struggle to control the Chelsea dressing room.

"The guy never played the game," he added. "I don't think he's been around top players all his life and he's not got that experience behind him. I know a lot of people will think 'so what' but you've got to be in and around an environment like that to understand what goes on.

"Nothing prepares you for management at the highest level. The reason I think Chelsea will have difficulty this year is because he's going to take a year to find out exactly what it's all about in England.

"When you look at what they had last year with Ancelotti, he has been around the block many times and won everything as a player and manager. I thought he was a perfect fit for them."

in the end was Graeme Sounnes correct about AVB?

Considering we were 5th last season also with i think even less points then no too early to say.

We say AVB is naive but Carlo showed a fair bit of naivety last season, naming team lineups in press conference's, surely such a experienced manager saw the dangers in that?

Ancelotti is an excellent coach in term of working with older player (He showed it in Milan and Chelsea) but since chelsea want to go younger, sacking Ancelotti, imo is the correct decision

The way most of them are playing, yes we honestly should. Why should the manager be held accountable for our every failure? He can only do so much to help the team and they are the ones who need to go out and get the result. Sometimes the players play without any passion whatsoever and it is not fair that the manager gets the blame for that

You have a point.

But I thought he was fair with:

"Nothing prepares you for management at the highest level. The reason I think Chelsea will have difficulty this year is because he's going to take a year to find out exactly what it's all about in England.

It is why from the beginning i knew we would be crap and did not expect Chelsea to win anything. I was expecting Chelsea to either finish 3rd or 4th.

True, so what was the point in getting him the first place if this was the case?

I would rather say its time to look forward. How do we get rid of Boas without Abramovich stand back as the bigest idiot of all club owners in PL?.

Maybe we are so lucky he gets tired of us and wants to sell?, just kidding or dreaming?. By the way Ancelotti was a good coach, but lets not get to

high on memory, even he made some big mistake like all coaches do.

I agree on the playes part. But you gotta be realistic, if a team dont peform there is only one man or woman who will get the blame=COACH. I question Boas, does he has authority and respect among the

players, can he motivate them?. Dont you think you got your answer?.

Well I tell you that the moment we sack AVB we will be the biggest fool in the entire history!

Sack Carlo for 15M to get AVB for 13M and then to sack him and pay some other compesation.....

Sorry but that is ridiculous like what Madrid does.

There will be no defending of Chelsea from me on that part, if that takes place.

Because if that happens it shows we are run by an owner that uses Chelsea as it's play thing.

squeeze out the last bit of what left of our player, and to be fair we won double :D

That is dumb business. Why pay so much money just for one or two years?

I really dislike Roman empire but im honest enough to say i think he really loves Chelsea.

But you should not let money rule your way of thinking football, Roman can do that. He

doesnt think twice about sacking people, but the problem is for him he really looks like

a complete idiot if he sacks Boas + the Torres deal. So can he accept losing face or

say goodbye to Cl football?. But money has never been the issue for him.

Roman is a big baby with a big ego.

It will be hard to see him say I'm sorry or I was wrong.

Including when we knew he was dead wrong about firing Mourinho. Yet he won't admit it publicly.

It is why I think more likely he will keep him even if we fail to get into CL. Cause there is always next year......

Why do you think we bought so many young players?

Get rid of the dead wood this summer and then let the players like Lukaku, KDB play for it. B)
