  1. Courtois in a sky blue training kit already makes up for the whole Lukaku leaving thing in my mind. Hope Everton can atleast displace Arsenal from their 4th spot.
  2. Welcome to the forums,Marco You're like the only Italian here. I'm sure you'll have a good time. Also it's nice to have an Italian's perspective here.So what's your thought on the current state of Italian football?
  3. Can't wait to see Pepe in pink. Good kit, though. PSG rocked their pink kit last year.
  4. Can't wait to see Pepe in pink. Good kit, though. PSG rocked their pink kit last year.
  5. Lukaku thanked Chelsea in his move for bringing him to England. So that itself debunks your theory that we are ruining players careers. Chelsea, as a top club, can't afford to risk too much youth unless they're world class. None of the above mentioned English lads have shown they're good enough to play for title-winning side.
  6. Risky going into the season with Costa, when-was-the-last-time-i-missed-a-sitter Torres and Drogba as our attacking force, especially since Drogba leaves for an entire month in January. But with the likes of Schurrle and potentially Bamford in the side, we could pretty much pull off the Premiership. And there's always the winter transfer window if it hit the fan.
  7. Jake Cohen @JakeFCohen Chelsea's investment in young Belgian talent has essentially yielded Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois + Thorgan Hazard for ~£20m. Not bad. Indeed! ?
  8. Spot on. Beauty obviously lies in the eyes of the beholder. For me, there's nothing in football like taking in the pressure and hitting them on a fast counter. Pep's Tiki taka the sort of style that bores the opposition with their triangles and passing and slowing going for the jugular. I'm not arguing its not attractive but Barca fans branding that sort of football only as attractive is kinda deluded.
  9. Roman's roubles have only levelled the playing field in the English turf which was dominated by rich teams like United, Arsenal and Liverpool in the past. They're just blind to accept that.
  10. Looks like everyone its coming up with something. Chelsea FC v. Chelsea FC Casilla
  11. Mourinho won't be having a problem selling him to another PL club. But can you afford £25-30m? Also you won't be able to keep hold of him anyway if he turns good once again. Another 15-20 goal season and Madrid/City are gonna come calling.
  12. Best case scenarios: Torres leaves, Costa- Lukaku -Drogba for next season Lukaku signs an extension and goes out on loan in that order We are going to regret going with Costa- Drogba- Torres into this season. We are one injury way from being crippled once again in the strikers department (no offence to Drogba) We can't go challenging for the EPL and CL with 37yo Drogba having to lead the line for a long period of time.
  13. Better Wolfsburg than Everton. Either way, we are going to regret selling him.
  14. £50,000 pw I've read it on twitter..not actually sure
  15. Lallana went for 25m and Chambers for 16m. Going by that, how come 19yo Shaw goes for 28-30m? Him being a Chelsea fan influenced the fee atleast to a slight extend.
  16. Bit harsh on the kid. If he wasn't a Chelsea supporter, United would've gotten him for significantly lesser fee and wages. Hard to turn down that sort of wages and first team promises when you are at such a young age. Also we are the one's that rejected him and Chelsea was always his first choice. I'd buy my agent a Ferrari for getting me that deal.
  17. I haven't heard that before. So we coukdve ended up with James fucking Milner instead of Lamps?
