Fabregas isn't tested in that role behind the striker in the PL, yet. For all I know, he could work his magic more effectively from there.
-
The media was bashing Jose for showing favouritism towards Lamps. Would've been a wankfest if Uncle Harry was in charge.
-
Maybe this could happen: .........Matic- Mikel...... ....Willian...Fabregas....Hazard Mikel could cover for Fabregas' defensive disabilities.

One of the EA Sports FIFA producers, Santiago Jaramillo is Chelsea fan.Thought you should know.

But the lad look like a 25 year old footballer in your avatar.
-
Good thing. He'll ruin his career if he opts for tiki-taka. Best suited for counter attacking football. He'll thrive in our system. 20m is a 'shut up and take my money' scenario.

What did you expect for a 40 year old drug lord?

This part:"Diego Costa says that he never takes his work home with him. Which is probably a good thing. If he did, the Atlético Madrid striker might walk through the door, goad the dog with a stick, surreptitiously elbow his wife out of the way on the stairs, shrug his shoulders innocently as she lay in a crumpled heap at the bottom and whisper insults to his children, look the other way and whistle when they burst into tears. He might stroll into the living room and dramatically collapse on the floor, roll around the rug holding his head and appeal for a penalty. He might even get it too."

#18 for Remy, Azpilicueta signs new contract

Way to jinx it, Term

Jones should be playing CB imo. He and Cahill will make a good pairing. Stones still needs more experience. When you put a inexperienced player like Stones as CB with Henderson and Wilshere as the midfield cover, you can expect Norway to score but that attacking players is good enough to win them the game.
-
Agreed to the fact that he has been consistent and is underrated because of the holding role he plays, but apart from that there is nothing world-class about him. If any player looks world-class at Barca inspite of being anything but that, it's definitely this guy.Individual brilliance? That's the last thing you'd associate with Busquests. That notion of yours made me laugh as well. Who said anything about parking the bus? Is that what comes into your mind when someone mentions your club. Inexpiable.
-
Us v. Citeh will be a piece of cake, then?
-
He works perfectly in Barca's system and, to some extend, Spain's. That doesn't make him world-class. He would be pretty average if he played in a team like ours or Atleti.
-
Costa was fairly average on the wings at Atleti and he made his mark as a ST there. No question there. Like I said, Ramires might be deployed on the wings when we have to guard a lead during the course of a game and I doubt he'll start as winger again. Remy will absolutely play on the wind when we are chasing a game and Costa plays as CF. Apart from that situation, it's essentially Hazard, Willian, Schurrle and Salah as options for the winger position. I'm sure Salah will get enough gametime.
-
James, Bale, Neymar- those three being world-class or not should be up for discussion. IMO only Bale has qualities to be considered world-class atm eventhough he is not quite there with all the above mentioned players. Both Neymar and James are below Bale in terms of quality and both haven't had a wonder season yet.
-
Cesc-Matic is still adapting to the Premier league and it will get defensively stronger as they play more together. Having said that, its better to play Fabregas in the hole behind Costa with a Matic-Ramires/Mikel pivot against the bigger sides or we could get dominated again in midfield like at Goodison.
-
Terrific. Courtois and Hazard next, please.
-
Ramires might act on the wings, maybe, during a match inorder to supplement the defense, but I don't think he'll start on the wings anymore. That is so last season. And Costa on the wings??? Then what's the point in having him in the first place.
-
Agreed. Also he takes quite some time to get going during a match. One thing I like is that he rarely becomes invisible once he moves onto third gear.
-
I reckon he fancies the #14 shirt worn by Henry, his idol, at Arse. Schurrle will probably take #9
-
Neur, Courtois Lahm, Thiago Silva, Ramos, Chiellini( can't think of any LB without any flaws current playing) Yaya Toure, Fabregas, Iniesta, Hazard, Silva, Kroos, Robben, Ribery, Pirlo, Schweinsteiger Suarez, Zlatan, Aguero. (Rooney, RVP, Falcao, Cavani and Muller is surely close) From another planet: Messi, Ronaldo
-
Silva is at his peak right now and had been quite good ever since he signed for City. Hazard, on the other hand, is slowly rising to his peak and even at this stage Hazard and Silva are at par with each other and both are world-class right now. Hazard will attain Robaldo/Messi level in the next few season but don't see Silva getting near that status.

"Spending what you earn" Do you honestly think that's gonna level the playing field as far as transfers go? This windows demonstrated how FFP suits the big clubs and hinders the smaller sides.
