Time to let this stay on topic! Hasn't he only recently signed for Madrid, like a year ago or something? Surely there are only a few reasons why we would be linked to him: 1) he's been in exceptional form and ticks all the boxes that we need 2) he has had injury, after injury, and has lost sight in the large battle for Madrid eleven 3) he's not been able to meet the high expectations and Madrid are look for an easy buck, which we and Citeh are prime suckers for!

If we get rid of him, replace him with Josh - then sell Essien and sign Javi Martinez

I was thinking more of finding a cheaper option instead of making another game of goose chase for the rest of the window (which i know whasn't opened yet). So far we have been very 'mature' with our signings, and our transfer dealings, hopefully that is due to some influence from Mr Saive Robbie. I wish for more brilliant signings like Marin and Kevin who are cheap options but with bundles of talent. We got Romeu cheap, who is still a raw talent waiting to be nurtured, but just one example of a player with heaps of talent we could develop into first team starter.

Do we really need him? I think we have enough options in the midfeild if we want to add Josh to the line-up (squad depth) as well as maybe using someone Kevin there if need be. They would want a stupidly large amount of money for him anyway!

Such a brilliant prospect, deserves an oppertunity - especially if we are letting SloMo go (huh, that rhymed!!) would rather have someone like him here then someone of Florent's 'quality'.

1 more season with the opportunity of Lamps being a first team starter, and then from there on him giving a Giggs role until the day he finally decides to settle down and hang his boots. I think he should be at least given the oppertunity to become the club's top goalscorer, he is SSOOOOoooo close!

Good appoitment. Has got the respect and the applaudence from pundits, critic and the players themselves - and shows passion for a club, which came across so vocally last season. Hopefully he can add more of his magic into the squad, and sign some more additions for our revolution of the squad. Two years is the perfect amount of time to establish himself, build his own mark on the team as well as blocking out Pep.

That's the impression that i get from him. It is more so that he is at the club he loves, but hasn't been able to be given the oppertunity to put his workshift in. I am sure he will be a success down the line for us, but we need to make sure he is treated perfectly right. I know it is down to the new manager, who i hope will be resolved before the end of the week, but i think he should be the second/third choice striker instead of someone blasting in the goals in the reserves. That is what happened to Borini, and he's already showing his worth in Italy.

He has ambition, which is why he came here, and he wants to play for those games. He has played well at certain points this season, even sacrficing his own style to benefit the team, now it's time he does when he hasn't in his tunure here so far, which is to become a consisten goal threat and earn the right to replace Didi, or at least attempt to.

Has this been confirmed by anyone or anything though?
